Considering the instructions claim 7-8 hours, most of all shops are gonna charge 7-8 hours labor plus environmental and such. Hell, it only took me 4 hours to do my 02 when I installed my lift, that's just all extra profit for them

That ain't too bad. The shop up the street that I frequent is a BDS dealer. I'll have to talk to them about pricing and such. Northern VA tends to be one of the highest priced areas for most things lol

Yup, you are correct. Finally found the install sheet. Even if I do it the way I said, it's still almost a $1000 cheaper than a BDS kit

Now I'm looking at a Pro Comp 6" with MX 2.75" coilovers and MX-6 rear shocks. Screw the blocks and AAL, I was gonna upgrade to BDS glide-ride lift springs. I've had my fun with axle wrap and wheel hop lol, might as well upgrade and do it right the first time. I picked the pro comp lift cause I heard you don't have to modify anything, and the BDS kit you have to grind down the differential

Wish they did the older style brute body and front clip with the updates of the new one. Almost got a new brute last year but settled on an Outty 1000XT for only a 1k more which was well worth it

Prevents oil build up in the intake manifold and on the throttle body. If you do a search on the forum, you'll find a bunch of pictures of members trucks where they are getting a ton of oil in the catch can after only like 15k miles or so. Multiple threads on the issue

Dropping in a new trans with it or nah? When I get my performabuilt trans rebuilt under warranty you can pick it up and buy it off of me. It will already be in PA lol

It will take a while before everything gets done. Small stuff like accent lighting is cheap and easy. Right now I'm getting my quad ready for a trip to Hatfield-McCoy's sometime in May. Gotta do an oil change, diff fluid changes, wanna install a light bar, and maybe do some better tires

Lol I know I know, I may have lied a bit. I was thinking of getting a 30" light bar and mounting it behind the grille. Hook it up with a wireless remote like a lot of guys have been doing. Also want to get my HID's put back in. I realized I had them hooked up wrong after I got rid of them, so I'm gonna give them another shot. Plan on doing some lights in the bumper steps, lights out back for hooking up a trailer, and probably some floorboard lighting. I've thought about an auxiliary battery as well (side post for this one), some kind of CAI or maybe just an AIRAID tube. I've also looked at exhausts and found a Gibson exhaust I liked, but Chris is telling me go Borla. I like the Gibson because another member has one installed and said it's a tad louder than stock going down the highway, but nothing too bad and he said it sounds good when you get on it as well. Still undecided And of course I want to do a catch can. This will probably be my next mod

Message colton_m He has some brackets that mount on the uprights behind the grille that will mount a 30" light bar. Be pretty secure considering it's behind the grille. I'm gonna do that soon and do what many guys have been doing and hook it up with a wireless remote so no drilling required

That would have sucked if cranked too hard and snapped your housing off lol

What all did they have to do to install wifi? I'm also curious what it takes for them to hook up the factory navigation
