  1. Got the Performabuilt 4l60e ready to ship out tomorrow. Kinda miss having it in the lifted truck. Going back in after I get the truck squared away and pass inspection. Getting 37's for it soon and may have to replace to steering gear box and definitely needs sway bar bushings. Should pass other than that
  2. Got my step lights in from oznium.com! Whenever I have a couple hours to spare (maybe tomorrow afternoon) Im going to remove the rear bumper so I can drill my bumper steps for the LED bolts. The steps are attached in weird areas and removing the bumper aint hard to do. Hopefully she'll be all lit up out back here soon. Want to also hookup a couple other LED bolts I purchased and somehow fab up a bracket and mount them to my draw bar so it makes hooking up a trailer in the dark easier. UPDATE: catch can is doing a helluva good job. Ridiculous the amount of oil that is in it after only a thousand miles
  3. Daryl just to let you know I ordered an ac compressor on rockauto.com and mine came prefilled with PAG oil. They said to dump it out from the old compressor and match the volumes to the new compressor. I just hooked it up, forgot to read the instructions first lol. Runs fine but I missed the part that says to match the volume of the old compressor
  4. This is after 800 miles installed with media in the filter part: That picture was taken yesterday morning. Shows you just what is going through your engine
  5. Absolutely not. Very high quality. Do not get the version 2. That is a vented version. Get version 1, it is a close loop system, just like how it is stock. Do not want extra air entering the engine that the fuel mapping isn't calling for
  6. I like the contrast of the white and black on that truck! I agree with the cable being a bit outta place but hey its gonna serve it's purpose one day!
  7. Apparently my truck knows how to brew a cup of coffee That's about 800 miles after catch can was installed. At first it was straight oil. Now condensation is coming in to the factor. That's gross...
  8. You should color match the chrome bezel around the headlights too. It'd look perfect IMO [emoji106]
  9. They sell a universal seal kit on rock auto. That's where I bought mine
  10. Agreed. The first one only had one pressure side on the accumulator. The second one you posted has both pressure sides on it. At least this is what I think hahaha
  11. Need to see where the retaining nut is on the original one in your truck: driver side or above line. It seems like the top pic is just a generic pic because why would they say in the description "nut that retains hose at the top"
  12. Cleaned her up today and found so many damn scratches and paint chips it's unreal. The list is about a notebooks worth long. Not like I take this thing mudding or anything. Obviously GM paint is shit these days. Probably about 30+ chips and then so many scratches it's unreal. I'm sure the scratches will come out with some rubbing compound and wax, but goodness there are way too many paint chips. Knew I shoulda got the burgundy colored truck instead lol
  13. Gorgeous truck! Need to put some time into clay barring and waxing my truck, after I take it in for a paint chip that was there when I bought the truck (saw it the day after i brought it home but I just haven't had time to take it in). Also need to get the heated seats worked on and a few other things
  14. I ah ree with Chris. My state is the same way. No more than 4 forward facing lights at anytime. That's why I can't do the 6 high mod
  15. So maybe something is wrong with my motor. This picture is after 50-75 miles of driving. That's ALOT of oil!
  16. Don't feel like reposting it again, so I just copy and pasted the URL lol http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/167049-rdnckhntr94's-2014-Silverado-High-Country-Build#entry1591485
  17. Got the catch can installed today! Took about an hour once I had all the supplies together and then fabbed up a bracket for the can. Used 3/8" trans line like others have suggested but I still get a suction sound like others have reported. It's nothing I can't live with. Here's some pics
  18. Installed mine today using the 3/8" trans hose. I have the sucking sound, but I can live with it. Took me an hour to fab everything up real quick and hook it up. Hope to get awesome results like shown!
  19. Gonna do an oil change today as well as grease 2 whole zerks. Then I'm gonna focus my attention on the quad and do oil change, diff fluid changes and gearbox oil change [emoji106]
  20. Added GenRight Off-Road LED reverse lights to the quad. I'm gonna have it so they are activated manually not via a switch when it goes into reverse For those of yall savvy with wiring, do you think I could get away with just running them to the switch and the power to the switch be on a 5 amp fuse? They are low draw (i believe around 2.5 amps total) and would save me money from having to buy a relay
  21. I use it for work and personal use so it gets driven some miles. Some days it doesn't move, some days I'm pushing 300+ miles lol
  22. Put the ol' workhorse quad to work this morning at work: Did a great job, but I managed to bend the frame on the plow somehow (torqued up on one side). Oh well, just an excuse to buy a plow for my other quad and retire this one to just trail riding. She's done a great job for the past 10 years, starting to take a toll on her Also rolled over 8k on the way home
