    Thanks buddy! I think it actually sits perfect how it is, maybe a slightly larger tire when the time comes, but I love how it sets. Not too high, not too low. Rides a bit rougher but nothing like my other truck

    Left yesterday morning for a weekend ski trip with a bunch of friends. Tonight got cut short for a few of us because my buddy messed up his wrist. Putting lots of miles on the truck this weekend!

    So I just realized that when I did have my HID's in, I had the capacitor and relay flip-flopped in the chain. I have a feeling this is what killed my HID's. I think I'm going to give them another shot

    Added a 2" level kit and removed the running boards. Love the look now!

    Most I've done to it in a while [emoji3] Stock: 2" level and removed those obnoxious steps: I use to have to step to the outside of the step in order to get out and it would cause me to slide off the side of my seat and wearing it down quicker than normal. Now I can step straight to the ground and push myself up on the way out of the door so I don't wear out my seat anymore! Alignment gets done at 3pm tomorrow should take about an hour! Got a small road trip ahead of me this weekend (about 2 hours one way) then we'll see how I like it!

    Replaced a water pump in an 05 Trailblazer with a 4.2 I6 for a coworker after work. Wasn't too bad but nothing near the ease of a water pump for my LM7 5.3L. Made $75 as well [emoji106]

    Dad asked me to drive his 09 because he felt like trans was slipping. Drove it to go do some errands to see what he was talking about. Clearly transmissions have a thing for me because now his 6l80e is shot. 180k on it. Guessing that's the expected life out of the 6 speeds??

    No ice. It was almost 60 yesterday lol. I think it has something to do with the steep gearing, tire size, and the front driveshaft. Think it is spinning too quickly because of the gears and tires are worn down to like 33's from 35's haha

    Oh no, it definitely shouldn't be there lol but it is definitely a lot nicer to drive than my 02 that's for sure haha

    Took my 02 out for most of the day yesterday. Ran her down the highway and I don't remember having all those vibrations coming from it. Around 85 the truck felt like it was gonna come apart. Something must be out of balance, I hope lol

    I'd pull the hid unless you're real cool with the tech and dealership. The tech doesn't care because he gets paid either way

    So question for the masses: should I ask my dealer before I install my level kit and see what they say or just install it and show up for an alignment? I dont want them to align it and when i pick it up they say oh you lost your powertrain warranty, even though im covered by that warranty act deal. I tend to gravitate towards dealership alignments in my area cause they seem to be the only ones to get it right

    Mines the opposite. It will kick out on the warmer days, something to do with the hot gasoline fumes. Try pulling the gas pump out of the filler neck a couple inches to let the fumes escape. Other than that I couldn't tell you what else it could be

Did a couple different ideas and feel like they are all pretty slick looking: Stock: #1 (4x4, steps, high country emblem gone): #2 (everything chrome gone except mirror caps and door handle. 4x4 also gone): #3 (steps, door trim, 4x4 emblem gone.
