Bought a High Country grill or grille on EBay. Swapped my honeycomb grill or grille out because it was a pain to clean. If anyone wants to buy my chrome honeycomb grill or grille let me know. It was a fairly easy swap. I love the look.

Hey all, I installed the OEM black GMC letters on my AT4 this weekend and thought I would pass this shortcut along. If you don't mind being a bit destructive and want to take the easy route - just pry the red insert off of the factory emblems and it exposes the retaining clips. Insert a screw driver and they pop right off. No grill removal required. I had one or two tangs that didn't immediately snap back in on the new emblems. apply a bit of pressure to the grill tab with either your finger or a flat blade screw driver from behind until it clicks. You are good to go.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. Just put a deposit on a 2021 Sierra AT4 Carbon Pro w/ 3.0 Diesel. Taking delivery in 3 days. Has anyone found or tried to install LED Light Bars in the front bumper and or behind the grill. I travel a ton to remote locations after daylight hours in northern Alberta, Canada. I need better lights than what comes factory. Those critters are everywhere. Something that looks OEM or similar. Not looking to look like a Desert BAJA truck. Cheers!

I just bought a white frost 2019 Sierra Denali and want to blackout all the chrome on it. Anyone have experience doing this? Want to do all the badges, grill, door handles etc. I’m thinking I will take the chrome grill and lower insert around the tow hooks out and acid wash them to remove the chrome and get back to the ABS plastic and have them painted, but didn’t know if there was an option that was better? Here’s a couple of the pictures as is now. I’ve ordered black 22” rims and the leveling kit, but once those are on I want to get the rest of it blacked out. Thanks

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a raptor style grille for my '14 silverado 1500. I see ones online that I like but I can only find them for the 16-18 models. They have the 3 amber led's on top and "CHEVROLET" fairly large across the middle. For these, you can find them for 120-175 dollars. The only raptor style grills I've found for the 14-15 chevy have the amber lights but no chevrolet across the front. I've also seen grills with chevrolet across the front but don't have any lights AND they cost 500-700 dollars and at that point, I would just stick to the stock grill. Anyone have any ideas on where I could find this? or ways that I could maybe buy the blank grill with the lights and buy lettering somewhere separately and somehow attach them to the grill? I've attached 3 pictures. The first one is what I want but it's not the right year. Second is what I can find for my year and 3rd is the one with no lights, but has lettering across middle for 600 dollars. Any advice would be awesome!

So. I saw this on Instagram for anybody wanting to do something like this. They said they fabricated a thin piece of metal and painted it and then stuck it behind the grill center. Think it makes the truck look 10 times better. I’m gonna give it a shot and I’ll document the process for anybody interested. Believe I’m gonna go with red on mine

2016-2018 GMC Sierra Elevation grille that's been professionally painted black. This is a brand new OEM grille. I bought it from a member on here, but also decided to go with a different grille. The grille itself looks fantastic, the only reason for going with another grille is I have seen another truck identical to mine with the same grille, and I want to have something different... $500 shipped. Only asking what I paid for it. Current location: 54016 Thanks!

Not a big fan of chrome and swapped the back bumper with a black bumper off another truck and also ordered some black vinyl and ONE of my many zillions of my projects was to put it over the front bumper and grill. Since I had the grill off for my new black headlight assemblies I figured I would put one strip on to see how it looks and I like it a lot. I plan on doing all of the smaller strips of the grill as well but this was just a starter to get an idea of how it would come out. Very curious if anyone else has done this or thought of this as I think it’s a great alternative and option to painting it! Actually I’m thinking now I’m just doing the top middle and bottom and leave in the small chrome strips in between.

Does anyone happen to have a recommendation on where I could take my truck to get the grille and bottom chrome (skid plate cover?) piece painted in the Houston area? I am looking to get my grille surround color-matched to my stock color (Mineral Metallic) as well as the mesh/honeycomb of the grille and the lower chrome piece both painted a satin black. I am hoping I can find a shop that can remove, paint, clear-coat and reinstall these pieces for a reasonable price. I also have the paint code (WA433B/GJB), so I could source the paint myself if it were to make it any cheaper. Does anyone happen to know how much of the Mineral Metallic paint it would take to paint the grille surround, and maybe the lower door mouldings as well?? I'm looking to do something similar to the picture of the red truck, however instead of color-matching the lower piece, I believe I'd go satin black with that as well. Thanks!

OK, I come from a GM family and have owned many GM vehicles. I just bought a GMC Sierra 1500 Crew STL2 over a Denali in January. Now I like chrome but does anyone else think GMC goes overboard on the Denali chrome grills in their vehicles? I feel like they are just trying to out chrome everyone else. It's almost like, "hey, look at all this chrome. I'm a Denali. I'm expensive!" I may be biased but personally believe the STL grill is more subtle and stylish. My STL has the premium package with most of the same options as a Denali as well.
