  1. Hey all, looking for some quick info I hope. I have a 2014 Silverado that originally had the DL3 RPO power folding mirrors. I upgraded to the Power folding trailer mirrors and used some of the wiring "hacks" from early in this thread to get them to operate as running lights, no reverse light functionality. One of my mirrors was damaged while parked at a train station and in my search to replace it I see that there are now harnesses being sold along side the mirrors. My questions are: 1) are these new harnesses compatible with 2014 Silverado 1500s? 2) do they enable the reverse light and running light functionality? 3) is some sort of flash required to enable additional functionality? 4) If #1 is yes what part numbers do I need? Thanks for the help in advance! Jeff
  2. Just a thought and you may have already explored this, what about instead of making an entire cap just creating an extension ring that fits into the headlight and receives the original cap on the other end? I would imagine it would be much cheaper that trying to make the entire cap.
  3. Danger, Do you know if these relays plug and play into the TRS Silverado Spec kit, or is additional wiring required?
  4. Phyduix, Any Updates on how you are making out on making these available for purchase?
  5. Any idea when these are going to be available? Ordered the VipMotoz ones and they are going back. OLED pieces look like tupperware in there when they are off. Giant white blocks of plastic :-(
  6. I'm in for a pair of controllers if you decide to make them! Very slick!
  7. Yeah ended up getting the Yakima rails installed so I can throw a pair of kayaks up there eventually. Also got the dual LED light strips on the interior. They really light it up nice at so you can see what is rolling around in the bed . I want to play with the wiring a bit though. Right now the lights are controlled by a small switch just inside the glass on the roof of the cap. Would like to also have the interior cap light come on with the key fob when I unlock the doors. Make it easy to see when you are quickly throwing things in the bed. Should be easy to setup just have to find the time to tinker with it. A buddy of mine with a Ford has the same cap and had a Leer Locker installed in it which is actually pretty sweet, may end up doing that down the road at some point.
  8. Been looking around for OLED Style tail lights for my Silverado. Ended up ordering a set from VIPMotoz (http://www.ebay.com/itm/191420783025). However in looking for these it looks like RECON now has some for the Sierra that feature the OLED Style lamps. http://www.gorecon.com/products.php?p_cat=44&cname=ChevyGMC-99-15-LED-Tail-Lights

  10. Some pictures now that I've added the ARE Z Cap to the truck. A little bit Suburban-ish but it's growing on me.
