  1. Thanks , I didn't want to add too much. This is just enough for me.
  2. I added a z71 emblem to the grill on my 2014 all terrain. About $20 from my local gm dealership.
  3. Yes redwngr it's been in the shop 4 times now for the same issue. They are having some trouble tracking the problem. On the last visit the bcm module got replaced. It did make a difference on the cold start issue I was having but still doesn't work 100% of the time.
  4. Posted Yesterday, 10:32 PM That's one of the things I don't like about GM. If the service engine soon light is on the remote start won't work. They punish you and make you take it in to get fixed to get the remote start to work. My 08 Pont G5 does this as well. Some other makers don't do this. Jim To be clear I don't have any check engine lights or any other warning lights on the dash. The remote just doesn't work on cold starts. This really bugs me as my truck has only 35000 km and less than a year warranty left .
  5. The truck doesn't crank on cold starts using the remote starter. It was at the dealer 2 weeks ago for a service and a software update. I did have this issue before that update. I'll check out the hood sensor . Thanks
  6. Hey , anyone else having issues with this? I have a 2014 sierra with a factory remote starter. Recently when I try to start the truck cold it does not work but if I start with the key and run for a while the remote start works and continues to work as long as the engine is warm. Going back to the dealership tomorrow to get it looked at again. First time they did not find a fault and couldn't replicate the issue I had. I think the engine was probably warm when they looked at it. Thanks.
