  1. Off realtrucks.com: https://www.realtruck.com/amp-research-powerstep-stainless-steel-trim-strips/ They are frustrating to put on or at least for me. Hard to get started then even harder to slide on with your hands. I finally used a rubber mallet and tapped until they were all the way on. Edit: I thought about taking them off but they were such a pain in the butt to put on. I'm just going to leave them for now.
  2. No, DFW area. Heard you guys got almost 10". We got around 4.5.
  3. Thanks!! I had GMC's tri-fold cover for about two years on my 2014 (which I moved over to this truck before I bought the BakFlip) which leaked and didn't sit flush. The BakFlip VP is a much better cover IMO. Love the look and the functionality, much easier to use. I don't have to go to both sides to unlock it, I can sit on it if I want, it folds up so I have full access to the bed, and it comes with a drain system. It hasn't leaked "yet" with all the rain we have been getting here in Texas.
  4. Here is my 2016 Iridium Denali, 6.2L, 2wheel drive truck completed (for now) with all the updates. Chrome handles and mirror caps replaced and painted Iridium, chrome window trim replaced with black, new Bakflip VP Tonneau, chrome door trim replaced with black, chrome Denali emblems (3) replaced with black (Ewing dealership did a great job), 6.2L tailgate badge (where Sierra was) from Emblempros, black GMC grill and tailgate emblems from American Brothers Design, black lug nuts and wheel locks by McGard (84640), GMC OEM Black gloss 22" wheels, Michelin Premier LTX 285/45 22 tires, black center caps from a local wheel shop, Black Bear Tune, GM Boral Exhaust Cat Back System, AirAid Intake (just tube), and Amp Research Power Steps. Before After

  6. Got my truck back from the dealership installing the black Denali door badges and black side molding. As you can tell I have color matched the mirror caps and door handles. Took the chrome window molding off and replaced with black. I haven't finished all the changes yet but wanted to post the black badges.
  7. You would please link to all the parts you ordered to lower the back of your Denali? I want to do the same thing, just lower 2" or so for that clean look. But not lose the smooth ride. Thanks a million!
  8. I'm having the dealership put black ones on that I got off the net this Thursday. Hope they turn out good. I will post pics once the truck is done with all the add ons. Might be a two or three weeks ;(
  9. Nice looking Truck!!! Where did you get the black Sierra door emblems? I have looked online and ordered some off Ebay but they are not aligned properly to "just stick on the door". Looking for Black Denali door emblems as well. Thanks!
  10. 99% yes. Only reason not 100% is because you can hear the chopper but you really really have to be listening for it. But with radio on, windows down, or a truck full of ladies (or men), more than likely you will not hear it. It does sound better with the flapper off or locked in the open position. Then get a tune from Diablo or Black Bear with V4 mode disabled. A tune is worth it on these trucks.
  11. At first I left the flapper on because I wasn't sure if I would like the sound of the muffler delete. And if I wanted to add the muffler back, then it was already there. Yes, it sounds better without the flapper...to my ears. It's a little louder. BUT you can just lock the flapper in the open position with a hose clap.
  12. Yes, I like it a lot, I don't plan on doing anything else but we all know how that goes.
  13. Here are some videos and better with headphones. In cab and highway with muffler delete Warm start and Revs: Side Camera, cruising and full throttle Side Camera, cruising and getting up to speed
  14. Yes, just a muffler and valve delete. I wanted duels but with the resonator so close to the back, it made it difficult. So we just moved it back and added the Y splitter. I spent $300 total Thanks. I have tried at least 5 times to shot a video in the cab but the iPhone picks up a ton of hum that is just not there. My son has a GoPro and will try and use that. Should be able to do some videos durning lunch tomorrow.
