    That's what I love about my truck. Common things you have to fix are easy to get to.

    Thanks, I thought about that, but I'm worried about door dings. Maybe I will, not sure. I'm really happy with the truck right now. Drives perfect. Next up on the replacement list is battery and TruTrac. Hopefully both later than sooner.

    Mine was around $300 this year for tag and tax. High IMO for an 8 year old truck but whatever. At least I don't have to pay for an inspection.

    I don't know much about the V4 mode. All I know is that like other fuel saving measures on pickups (crappy tires, spoilers) it makes little to no difference. A lot of people who have disabled their AFM say their mileage did not go down.

    A well designed piece of equipment will adapt to the conditions it's used in. Which is what the truck is doing by deciding to or to not go to V4...

    At work we have two V10's, a 6.0PS and a newish 6.2. The 6.2 is my favorite. The 6.0 makes a lot of weird noises. Both the V10's are alright to drive.

    Whether it would cost more or not getting something else is a hassle. And you may not like it as much as what you have. If you get a bumper, get the lights covered if there are deer around... They jump high lol. I'm thinking about restoring what's left of my 1990 eventually. Eventually when I have to buy a 6.0 for this truck maybe they'd give me a discount on a second one.

    Yes you can. Basically what happens when you install the tune is the sky opens up and skittles rain down. Honey pours from the tailpipe and your engine purrs like a tiger eating a unicorn. Also the radio starts playing Stairway to Heaven.

    Be ready to pay lol. Body work is expensive as all get out.

    I filled up with some pure gas. For some reason the shutoff kept acting like the tank was full, could go maybe 3 seconds before it shut off again. I think it was just a faulty handle.

    That sucks man. If I cruise around town and listen to the engine I get 10 lol. Lately all in all I've been getting 14 which isn't bad for long idles and low speed. Recent trip to CO I managed 17.45 round trip in a 2004 Burb. Not bad

    Coldest I saw was -20. Decided Kansas was too cold, time to go to warm Colorado.

    There's really not a big city in Kansas. Which is fine by me. SnakeEyes, you're braver than me. I've seen a couple Fram's pop pinholes, and won't use them.

    I love my tune. My scanguage shows me my temps and throttle position currently.

    I have the Greenstuff. Which I thought was supposed to be a more off road oriented pad. I really like everything about them other than the dust.

    I'm thinking about doing hydro boost eventually. For right now I just want some pads that don't dust so bad. Man the EBC stop awesome but they are a MESS!!!

    Locker should only clunk in if there's wheel spin. I don't know much about the new trucks, but my first impulse would be crank the spare tire as tight as possible. Happened to me a few times on my 2006, til the stupid winch jammed and I just chained the tire in the bed. I would trade the shocks out too and see if that helps, by trade I mean not OEM. I don't understand why people are so attached to the crappy ranchos.
