  1. Considered getting a 'Shee... Any ideas on price?
  2. Well the way "carma" works is once you get one you won't hit anything lol. I haven't hit any deer with this truck, but I have with the one on our work truck. I've managed to stop in time in this truck. One of my friends rolled his car though, so I got to push it around some. In a rural area, it's not if, it's when. Some you cant avoid. I've had one friend who totaled his truck on a cow, and one almost totaled on a deer. From looking at the design of the bumper it'll take more than the truck can.
  3. Drove it today... Stereo sounded good, the Maggy sounded better.
  4. I like the idea but I didn't want the counter steering in the rear affecting my drifts. It really would help parking though...
  5. ^ No front tags here. My truck is parked about a 12 minute walk away. Ridiculous
  6. But anyhow, I'm getting a free (rain) wash tonight lol
  7. Dang it let me sleep! Lol mine's been getting less than 50 mi a week. Saving lots of money right now. Way less gas than I burned in high school. Sarah, 100k miles is basically new. Get to 200k, then consider selling. damn lucky you.. 50 miles a week. i do about 800 a week I was only doing about 120 a week last year, but many were still in my old truck. Mainly dirt road.

  9. A kid here got in trouble with having 12" glasspacks, but for anyone else it would have been fine, he was always romping on it. As I've said before, no inspections here, or emissions. But more people are still in accidents because of people, not vehicles. I'm guessing the number because of vehicle failure is pretty low.
  10. IMO it's the driver more than the car...
  11. Drove back to school... I've decided that the Maggy 22" I have on is the perfect "touring" muffler.
  12. I would be fine with a .308. I don't doubt that either that or a .270 would have a problem knocking a deer down, both are good fast rounds, .30-06 is just my favorite round. If I got the R25 in .308 I would just be using a 5 round mag. Hornady bullets. I think I'd still have trouble justifying it, I can get a really nice Ruger M77 bolt for that much money...
  13. One of my friends has an AR-15 in .223. Needless to say, that's not a practical gun for me, I need something I can hunt deer with. But after shooting it some I really like it. My question is, (little off topic) what do y'all think of the Remington R15? My understanding is I can get it in .30-06, which is perfect for deer. How is it on parts interchangeability, etc?
  14. Well clay bar... Sports bar wouldn't be a bad idea either lol
  15. I guess "car"ma works like that. 30k miles on my old truck through high school, and only one major scratch, and only one wreck(deer). Granted, it was already scratched a lot, not even mentioning the rust. Got my 06, and a month later a girl backs into it, followed by constant other scratches from dumb people. Time for a buff and bar
  16. A girl at school last year backed her daddy's new f150 into my truck... Since it was on the back bumper I just glared at her and left. She wasn't even looking behind her. I should have yelled at her or something for being stupid I guess, but I figured it was good she bumped my truck instead of running over someone. Had a dream that night about repeatedly running my front bumper into the side of her truck yelling "how do YOU like it bi$&@!!!"
  17. I would have pushed it all over the parking lot. Cleaned interior and touched up paint this evening, 79 degree high today. Lovin it!
  18. Approx 13k a year on mine. Hopefully that'll go down this year, since I'll have a highway trip here and there, and virtually no DD. It'll make me miss the truck though, and that'll make driving it even better
  19. Today I drove on the finally graded road, they hadn't done it all summer and my suspension was paying the price.
  20. Changed belts today... I may need a couple new idlers.
  21. New duck/river boat, 20 foot jon with a 20 HP Mercury Jet.
