The switch is offered in the AC Delco line too, so that will save you some money over the dealership price... -
I just checked with GM, they olnly sell the whole headlamp switch. No bulb is sold seperately. I was originally going to say there are soldered LED bulbs- Like most switches of this era; Steering wheel controls, 4x4 switches, AC control head, etc.

1999 was a split year. OBS vs. NBS. Otherwise, if your on the correct "NBS" path, it will interchange. GMC's had a slightly different t/lamp socket than the Chevy's too. With a minor mod (via a razor blade) the t/lamps will ALL interchange!!

The new left valve cover for the 2009-2011 AFM trucks is GM PN# 12642655. There is a different PN# for the 2007-2008 trucks?? Alot of us are using "The Range" device to turn off AFM.... -

I agree Tom. Call the selling dealer or GM's Free Roadside Assistance # in the back of your owners manual soon!! Something is very wrong with your new truck. Please post back the dealer's findings at a later date. -Jon

Knock Sensor Issues Won't Go Away

You have to seal off the knock sensors to the harness & the knock sensor harness to the main harness as well. Dielectric grease is one option here.... -
