It sounds like we should have had a meet in Nashville this last weekend. I was there last Wednesday night just passing thru and then came back thru there on Friday!!

I've had a few 68's about 7 and only 1 69. All the 68's were big block cars some auto's some 4 speeds. The 69 was a small block that I got for a song and kept about 20 minutes before I sold it, Back in the day it paid to have cash when some one needed it, I got some good deals over the years. Only problem is I would not have any room if I had kept them all!!!! My dream is to build one more street car from a 68 with a 427 big block, 5 speed Lenco, with a set of 4:56 or 4:88 rear gears just to give the locals some crap!!! And yes Ryan my oldest son did live there until today!! He still owns his house there but he is not back home in AR not at my home but he lives here not.

Just got back from a 2 day marthon, left home 5:00 pm Wednesday afternoon to go to Nashville, Tn left there around 11:30 pm and drove to Atlanta, GA to see a DOT lady (no such luck) left there around 10:00 am for Asheville, NC got there around 3:00 pm. Worked at loading the rest of my sons stuff in the "sail" and got to bed about 11:30. Up at 5:00 am finished loading the trailer and left for home at 11:00 am, 13 hours later and 753 miles and pocket $395.00 lighter for fuel I am home and in my own bed!!!

Mike, is your Chevelle a 68-69? I think that is what the hood vent is?

Put my def tank skid plate on. Just had a little trouble with it but it is there now.

Had mine to the shop, tire repair from a stinkin screw!! And found that my lost of coolant is from the water pump. Pump is ordered so should be in next week to put on. Also got my Or-fab DEF tank skid plate in but had an issuse installing it got to get pictures to send to them.

Bent the front spoiler, when I pulled up on a pile of dirt to was the bed out!! Chris why did you not just trade for a 2500 it would have been quicker than buying it one piece at a time, hey that sounds like Johnny Cash.

Ordered a Or-Fab DEF Skid Plate, not going to pay to fix GM screw up again!! I hope.

You guys need to see some of the speeds in Phoenix!!! Speed limit on the 17 is 65 and at 80 it was like I was up on bricks!! I just set the cruise at 80 and let them cuss the guy with out of state tags.

I only passed to State troopers at that speed and they did not look twice at me! I had it to 20.2 when I looked at it the first time and started up a hill so I thought that I better get a picture or no one would belive me. Over the life of this truck the Ave. number is a tenth or so lower that what I get when I hand figure it. I know here in a couple of weeks I will be showing you some really low numbers. I am going to get the sail and when it was empty I only got 8.8 mpg and it will be loaded this time!!

Got to drive my truck for the first time in over a week!!! I sure did miss the Pig!!! Spent the last week driving a Caprice rental never ever again, the seats in that car were the worst seats I have ever been in.

Looked around for a truck like mine (I miss the pig so much) Just get to dream about it for a bit while I am out of town.

You should have snow there, what about us Arkie's who only get 3 or 4 total inches every year get 1/2 inch in May, the only time in history!!!

Put mine in hospital (dealer) with ck engine light, and DEF light. Service writer called and said I was out of DEF, I said no way it has only gone 3,000 miles since you filled it up, asked if they should fill it up. I told her yes put one jug in, she called back later and said that I would need a new DEF tank due to mine having a hole in it, and it would run about $1100.00!!!!!!! Before I could say anything she said that when the shop mgr got back they would call GM and see if they could help me out on it. They called back in about an hour and would split the cost 50/50 with me.

Pulled a trailer load of top soil home and now the dash in the Pigg is lit up like a christmas tree!?!?!?!?!?

Danny, how big a boat we talking about?? I will post a picture of the trailer when I hook back up on Wednesday to make the next towing leg of this trip. Went 388 miles today taking the wife where she wanted to go at 19.7 mpg running 70 to 75 most of the time.

I pulled a 11 X 8.5 brick 500 miles today at 75 mph it hung around 8.9 MPG!!! Only got up to 9.4 at 65 so balls to the wall for me!!! Gawd I glad I don't sitll have the gas burner. Never got above 1750 rpm.

Drove 100 miles to get an extend ball for my B & W, since when I went to get the trailer I am using this week my brother told me to be careful the last two trucks that had been hooked to that trailer had broken the back glass on both of them and dented the cab on the first one. Not going to take a chance unless I really need to at this point. Now loading up for a 600 mile trek!!

Got the damn pig stuck!!!! Sorry no pictures I was in a hurry to get some things done. Had to fix the tractor and get a trailer loaded with sale stuff.

Oh I forgot to say that my Rubicon is debadged!!!

Got the oil, filter, tires rotated and changed the fuel filter on her this morning.

Remember he is from Kansas the land of wheat and flat lands!!! Here is my mostly stock Rubicon.
