  1. No crank, it will buzz but that is all.
  2. Long story short stock truck will not start from time to time. Finally did not start first thing in mornings three days in a row so its at dealer now. Any one else had this problem, no trouble codes stored. Tech has seen draws on batteries a few times but it stops before he can isolate it. Any help would be great, driving a Dodge every day is killing me!!!!
  3. I would stay away from the factory hitch, that is the only thing I'm not happy with on my truck. The goose ball is loose in the hitch and now it will not unlock and come out of the hitch. Should have put a B & W in it and thrown the factory one in the trash!!! Just my $0.02 your experience may vary!
  4. I just had kelderman's install their Watts Link rear end set up with air bags, I didn't get any pictures yet but I will. I have noticed that unloaded it rides better, can't wait to hook up one of the trailers and put a load on it and see how it does.
  5. Long story short, had flat time changed tire without any problems. Fixed tire and when I tried to unlock the lift the key will turn but the lock will not come out. If i pull hard the plastic cover wants to pull loose some of the way, anyone else had this happen if what fixed it???
  6. My 19 model has been using more DEF than my '11 truck did, in 165,000 miles on the '11 truck DEF cost was $0.00244 per mile. The '19 truck at 49,850 the cost for DEF has been $0.00511 per mile. I have noticed the cost of bulk DEF has gone up the last few years, but I have only used bulk since I first saw it at the local Flying J in 2012!!! with the larger tank in the '19 it is going less miles on average than the '11 truck got about 6,500 miles to tank and the '19 is going about 5,000. :jester:
  7. Guys this is a GM site we are here because we like the trucks, tires are like oil there are as many who like one brand over another for lots of reasons. I'll run Goodyear's as long as the store manager stays the same, he and I understand each other and get along well, if I go in and need tires he will let me know the best time to buy tires for best price. Tire stores are just like dealers they are only as good as the employees working there. Just my $0.02 worth!!! :jester:
  8. The engine braking on my 19 is not as fast as it was on my 11 truck, I turn mine on as part of the start up of the truck every time. I drive the same route to work and with the 11 truck at 45 mph I would cancel cruise about 1/4 mile before the first stop light and if the light was turning to red the truck would just about come to a complete stop with out me ever touching the break pedal, with the 19 truck canceling cruise at the same spot it might drop to 40 mph!! I played with it for the first couple of months that I had the truck and got to where I've started turning off the cruise about a mile before the light and using the foot feed more. Just my $0.02!!
  9. Welcome from a former East Valley resident!!!
  10. Ryan, you still got to ask the little lady to trade trucks??? I thought that by now you would not need to ask her to do anything!!! j/k
  11. You getting a new ride?
  12. Ryan, you need a bigger garage!!! I don't have 40 acres to turn it around in but I do have 37!!!!!
  13. Well this is what I did!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No I had a first year would rather let you pull my toe nails out with plyers!!!
  15. Traded the Pig in on Pig II or some other name not came up with it yet!! I know "Post Pictures" I will as soon as I can get them from my phone. 2019 3500 GMC SLT Blue CC LWB 4X4!!!
  16. JSDirt, living in the south will help some of the tire wearing out problems as long as you stay off the freeways!!!! I shoot for 40-50,000 out of a set of tires. Still have all oem brake pads, rotors and all have never even pulled them off, did change out brake fluid a few months ago and it was pretty nasty stuff. My 99 truck had 186,000 on it when I traded it and had never had any brake work done on it, so I may just be easy on brakes???? And yes I do use my truck to haul and pull with a little over 40,000 of those miles I've had some type of trailer behind me it may only be a 8 foot utility trailer or it might be my 32 foot van but I've pulled the wheels off of it!!!!
  17. Had my fourth set of tires installed today, not to bad for me 3 sets to go 160,000 miles. Brakes still looked good not going to do anything to them at this time.
  18. I guess that I missed commenting about brakes. My 99 truck had 186,000 miles on it when I traded it in and I had never replaced any brake pad on it. My current 11 truck has 153,000 on it as of today and never had the pads off of it. I do pull trailers often some with brakes some without. It can be done you just need to watch what is going on in front of you.
  19. Took truck to town today and bought lunch for the family. Got burgers and fries and onion rings for 11 people and only spent $7.75 for all of it!!! Local place opened on Thanksgiving day in 1967 and they had a 50th party with opening day prices. A quarter pound cheese burger was $0.60 French fries were $0.30 and milk shakes were $0.50.
  20. A friend of mine tuned the AA/FC winner this year. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10206177695720425&set=a.3930779326992.1073741825.1805014896&type=3
  21. White1500 where are you in the valley, I have forgotten? I got some friends that have a shop in Tempe that might do your rear end, he's an old drag racing buddy of mine. His name in Bud's Automotive, I think the owners name is Bud Pickens, heck of a nice guy and a great drag racer. If he can't do it a guy in Chandler owns a machine/engine building shop may know of some one good, I'll check with him.
  22. Well on Thursday morning went out and started the truck to get the frost off the windshield and both low beams were working came back out in about 10 minutes and the right one was out again, needed the truck for a work trip so I left out going couple hundred miles and back. On my way back about dark I noticed that my headlights were not working very well? Stopped got out and looked and the drivers side low beam was out also!! This was the 3rd set of bulbs in about 1 1/2 years. So I went to the dealer and asked about bulbs, while I was there one of the Techs came in and said that I should get the "kit" if I was having problems. The "kit" had two bulbs and two new plugs for the bulbs, so I replaced them with good butt connectors and taped up the connections so we will see how this works out.
  23. Got mine back out of the body shop Friday, fixing my stuipdity. Then today I did a manual regen using my CTS2!!! It worked great, not that I would want to do one like that every time but I could see how it could come in helpful in some cases.
  24. Hey, I've been to that dealership before!!! Didn't buy anything but they were very helpful and friendly.
