Had some errands to run this morning, it has been cool every morning this week low 40's put the key in the Pig and nothing but click, click!!!! Decide to pull the batteries out and take to get charged and load test, you guessed it both of the had bit the dust!!! $400.00 dollars later the old Pig is back up and running.

Chevor, are you doing it in the orange or some other color? My truck is silver and has a dark gray strip like the top one. I think that the bottom one is a little much but that could be me.

I forgot to brag on the "Old Pig" just turned over 100,000 miles!!! It was back about 3 months ago now!!!! Not to bad for owning it for 54 months, about 1800 miles a month average but the one that got me was miles per hour average was up about 35 or so. I don't do much slow speed driving or idleing.

Replaced the low beam headlights in my truck for the second time this year!! Pulled it apart two weeks ago and ordered some LED's for it and when they came in one side worked great and one bulb only 1/2 of it lit up, so I sent them back and got another brand set in when to pull them up and neither one of them worked!!!! Dealer had another set just like the ones I had and they would not work either!!! So I went back with the Sylvinina (sp) bulbs, I hope I don't get to do this again anytime soon.

Lost a hubcap!!!! How the heck do you loose on a paved road????? Not happy at all. been driving for ever and never lost a hub cap. Just can't believe it!!!!

Drove the "Pig" 600 miles pulling the big trailer loaded down, got 9.2 Mpg at 60 MPH!!!! I was going to stop and weigh it but I missed one truck stop and said oh I know where there is one just up the road, still waiting to find the one just up the road!!

Not bad for me it took 1,595 days to get there, that works out to be 62.69 miles per day. But the miles per hour is 37.03 average for my 2700.5 hours on the truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I know Steve and his brother John and I think that now everyone knows Stevie. Plane is owned by Rod Lewis from Texas, Stewart Dawson flies it alot. Photobucket was being weird or I would have gotten some pictures up. 3 years ago at Fun & Sun I got a picture of Steve flying Glacier Girl, with a Mustang, and a (I don't remember) F111. I'll work at getting some up.

Didn't take pictures again! I had replaced the head lights about 90 days ago when one burned out. I watched a You tube video on how to do it and followed it took a couple of hours to pull the front end Yes I did say front end off the truck to change them! You pull the grill and bumper cover off along with the raditor cover and in the video I watched they pulled the front inter fenderwells down also. I did this on the drivers side and then realized that I did not need to do that at all. Took less than fifteen minutes to put it back together and now I think I can change them out from start to finish in less than an hour. Wish it was like my old 99 took about 15 seconds to change them out on it.

Chevor, you better trade that pos off if the door handles don't last any longer than that!!!! j/k With every one complaining so much about their trucks its the little things that when they break just seem to wreck your day. My wife has a Ford Exploder and a rear outside door handle broke on it its a 2006 model and the door has not been opened but maybe couple hundred times not to expensive to repair just a pain.

Ryan, you need to get the truck out more!!! I put 25,057 miles on bought 1,795.12 gallons of fuel for a total of $4,350.47 works out to average of 14.385 MPG. This includes about 8,000 miles towing this year.

Chevor, that is what I know and one more thing to make the pucker factor run up to about 12!!!! My dash cam was running and when I get some time I will try and post it here for everyone to see how dumb I can be.

Pushed water with the grill of my truck!!!!! Drive way was flooded, started out like normal but when I got to the curve instead of getting shallower it go deeper!!! To late then better to go on than try and stop and back up.

Ryan, you just keep that white crap up there!!! We could always build a fence to make sure it don't come down south!!

Got the new fan clut​ch installed today!! My truck does not sound like a Turbojet airplane anymore!!! Just a little over $600.00 and 1/2 day in shop. Only problem is I thought that it should be covered under the powertrain, the dealer said that it could run like that for quite a while with out any problems.

Took mine to shop for fan locking up all the time!! You can't hear the diesel rattle on accleration over the fan being locked up!! Get to take it back on Monday when the new part gets here at about $500.00 part is 300 of that!!

Took the Pig out on the farm and started down a gas line trail and almost got stuck, (damn street tires)!!!!!! Was able to use 4 X 4 and work it out but it was a pain not to sink down but about 2 inches and be so stuck!!! Oh well we live to make another day.

Lost 3 hours last night pulling the front end off my truck to change out a headlight!!!!!!! I think that who ever came up with this brain child should be required to go and change out at least one in every state on their own dime. Also I would make sure and have them do it in the grass somewhere at night!!!!! Can you tell that I am al little up set about it all? I went ahead and bought all the bulbs and changed them all out so I should be good for another 4 years and 80,000 miles. The good news is it only took about 1 hour to put it all back together.
