    Look under the Fords, I think it is worse! Between the driveshaft and fuel tank and it hangs down as low as ours do you just don't see it as much. And I have not heard of anyone putting fuel in the def tank or def in the fuel tank!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sarah, I have posted this before but I think it is good information. Years ago I knew some guys that worked at the GM Desert Proving Grounds both worked on dynos testing engines doing oil testing. They found that sometimes changing the brand and or weight of the oil you could take a engine that is using oil and reduce it or you might even increase the usage. So with that being said you might try a different oil brand or changing weight of oil. Just my $0.02!!!

    Ryan, right now at a GMC dealer in Farmington NM!! Fuel filter went from 80 per cent on Friday to zero this morning she ran fine and did not leave me stranded waiting to see what they have to say!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I getting ready to cruise in mine tomorrow afternoon going to go about 900 miles before I stop!! I'm looking forward to the next two weeks!! More than likely will not be on to much, I'll try and post some pictures every once in a while.

    Mine has as many highway miles on it as it does off road (farm) use, as long as I am going field to field or checking animals I can go almost anywhere I want on mine.

    Chris, I have been to the races there three or four times but never the March Meet. That is the one thing I miss the most about not living out west.

    Ryan, I found a bracket that goes under my bed cover and makes for a "drip rail" so you can use the "Drip rail" towers from Yakama or Thule. All we had to do was add some extra foam under the bed cover rails to clear the brackets. The brackets are from "Summit Racks" out of New York. Even with it empty it did not bounce around or make any noise going down the highway up to 80 MPH!! I have about $800 in to the whole set up.

    A lot!!!!! That is what one of the guys who helped me said man you can haul a lot of people in there!!!! Its 20 cu ft. I can't wait to make the first trip using it next month to see how long it takes for the wife to fill the bed this time. I love my wife but she has a bad case of bargain hunting, so I hope to have made that a little easier now.

    They say it is going to drop to 10 degrees F tonight and we are going to get freezing rain, sleet, and snow tonight and most of Monday!! Glad I got milk and bread yesterday at the store so I can have me some French Toast tomorrow!!!! I have my Duratrac's on, my ice chains are under the back seat so I guess I am as ready as I can be. It is 36 now with a wind chill of 25,

    Fixed my fuel cap cable not being long enough to hang on the hanger!!! The end of the plastic had caught in a bed seam and it was just long enough to unscrew and then hit the bed just below the fuel door. It was a pain to hold it while getting fuel and since it is sunny and 65 degrees today thought that I would fix that little problem, before it drops to 10 degrees and we get some of that up north weather!!!

    Around here a "Laser Wash" is just a regular automatic car wash most are the brushless type.

    I picked up some new to me XD wheels!! Think that I am going to be like all the Northeners and have a winter set of wheels and tires and a summer set!!!
