  1. Just bought me a 2021 Sierra 1500 and would like a locking fuel door but no one has one. Had one for my 17 sierra. And like other people said not concerned thieves it the vandalism
  2. Trust me, it's the winter blend plus cold temps. I've had my 2014 crew 4X4 5.3 with 3.08's since July 13, the two summers I've had it I got 20+ MPG all day long, last winter I was lucky to make 18MPG, now that it is getting cold again I'm back to 18MPG. Use Mobil gas on a regular basis 87 octane, ran several full tanks of 93 octane with no MPG improvement so save you money.
  3. I agree, the V4 mode is shifting off because the motor is lugging. if you pay attention to the instant gas mileage when go from V4 to V8 it doesn't change. If you are concerned about not running in V4 mode long enough turn on the tow haul mode it stays in V4 a lot longer. In the process of running a full tank in tow haul mode, so far haven't seen any difference in MPG.
  4. I heard a rumor last fall that it was coming out, also heard that GM worked with Dodge on this along with the turbo diesel V6 that Dodge currently offers.
  5. Here's what I posted on Feb 1, I still believe it's the cold weather. Last 3 fill ups I've gone back to E85 and getting 14MPG+, compared to the 16MPG I was getting on gas. I think I'll stay on E85 until the weather breaks.
  6. Seen a lot of talk on here about MPG going south after the recall update, i noticed the same thing but after thinking about this some more maybe its just more of the cold weather bad MPG. I got my recall done early January about the same time as the temps have really falling off in most of the country. I drive the same drive everyday one way to work 15 miles. In the summer months I was getting 20 MPG all the time, once the colder fall months came around I was is getting about 18 MPG, now since it has been colder than hell (beginning of January) I'm only getting 16 MPG. Also with the temp never going above 20 around here for the last month, on my 15 mile trip the water temp won't hit the 210' mark until I am almost to the end of the trip. I really think the crappy MPG is just due to the extreme cold.
  7. bought my truck in July and was getting 19-20MPG all the time, now that the temp hasn't gone above 30'F here in over a month and can't do any better than 15-16MPG (same driving habits same trips back and forth to work even with out the 4X4). Also tried premium fuel in the summer months and my MPG didn't change any. bought my truck in July and was getting 19-20MPG all the time, now that the temp hasn't gone above 30'F here in over a month and can't do any better than 15-16MPG (same driving habits same trips back and forth to work even with out the 4X4). 8. i have 1300 miles on my 4X4 LTZ Z71 5.3L, i have a 15 mile highway drive to work with a stop about every 2 miles i drive, if I baby it I get over 20MPG. The DIC has an MPG readout for every 25, 50, or 400 with your average and best mileage reading, my best 25 miles MPG is over 26, don't know how this figures but it sure sounds good. Use to have an 09 Acadia which i never got anything better than 21MPG highway.
