Absolutely. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I agree that the personality has to be taken into consideration prior to naming. I traded in Sally my 2008 Silverado LT for the 2014 Z71 that I initially named Sandra (Sandy). Not even a week went by before the kids and I decided that Samantha was much more fitting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Chuck, Do you have the part number? I got one for my double cab from GM but it doesn't fit. There is a square bump out on the passenger side that isn't notched out. I would like to compare part numbers with yours if it fits. Jay Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I brought mine in for the fire recall fix. I explained the LED issue and that they should work etc. When I got the truck back they basically said that the other trucks on the lot don't light up either so that means there is nothing wrong. I would like to hear the part numbers ordered or service number or something. I think it's a shame that some of us our left out of these fixes because there is no information whatsoever from GM regarding the issue. Jennifer told me in PM that she would keep me in mind for any updates on the issue but I haven't heard from her.
Whole thing sounds lame to me. Jennifer has offered her assistance, I would take her up on it. It's stories like these that show how important it is to find an honest service department. I would be moving on to another place at this point if at all possible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Called my dealer about it this morning. The girl I spoke with is pretty sharp and seems always on top of things over the years I've known her. She expressed frustration that service heard about the issue from news reports and just today got the letter from GM. She said that they have no direction about what to do yet about the problem and that they aren't even allowed to sell any until they get the ok again from GM. Like others have said, I have insurance so I'm not going to sweat it but I hope they get us some information soon. And incidentally, I am still interested in getting the illumination issue squared away. Great truck and I can honestly say it's the best vehicle I have ever owned.
Did the chat thing at my.chevrolet.com and the rep had no information about the illumination issue. Did mention the service bulletin about the power sliding rear window. They recommend getting it looked at when it's in for normal servicing. I've had zero issues with mine and have used it quite a bit despite the weather here.
Exactly. Left a football game last week started my truck while on the way back to the truck. Ditto the movies, mall etc. works great with the cold weather. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
No kidding. I will probably let it lapse and see what happens. I have AAA anyway along with the roadside assistance that Chevy offers.
I'm pretty amped about the remote start with the OnStar app. It works slick.
