    . When you go to pick it up!!! Make the shop foreman go for a Long ride with you on a smooth road and make sure your happy with it before you accept it back. My dealer worked with me very well on this.

    I got my truck back!!!!!! I would say that the vibration is about 97% fixed. Don't feel it in the seat is the steering wheel, but can see and feel it in the center console. Gonna have to get on couple differant smooth highways before I give final verdict though. They said got road force down to 8,8,10 and 14, with the goodyears. Told them I'd drive it few days and see if it stays this way or if it changes again like it has before. That s all I know. Hope it helps someone.

    Well, the dealer called me last night. Ask me if I wanted to hear a funny story.'first thought that ran through my mind was, shi they wrecked my truck. Thankfully that wasn't the case. !!!!! He said that after a lot of balancing and test driving they called someone in to calibrate there balancing machine. Tires were of couple ounces when they checked them after recalibration. Shop supervisor says my truck is smoother than its ever been now. Gonna go this mornin and take him for a long test drive. I sure hope it is fixed !!!!!! I will update you later this morning let ya know what happens.

    Well my truck has been in the shop since last Wednesday, haven't heard a peep from them. My wife ask if I was gonna call and check the status. I said nope. Shouldn't take 8 days to " balance my tires" AGAIN. ( Third time ). I keep racking up miles on there new loaner. Think it time for a long road trip. But I did tell them not to call me to pick it up till it was fixed this time.

    Well, my truck is still in the shop for the vibration. Guess they will do software update on while its there. News said that there has been 8 fires so far.'mostly while ideling in frigid temps. But back to the shake. The loaner I have has 20" continentals on it. Vibe hasn't been bad at all till this morning on my way to work. About 75 mph it was shakin pretty bad. Put it in neutral. That didn't change anything. Shop foreman at the dealer told me last week that the tires get flat spotted sitting overnight and have to get heated up. My 2010 didn't vibe in the mornings. Someone please edumicate on this

    I paid 45k for a truck, the son of a bitch shouldn't vibrate. I don't remember my 85 chevette vibrating. And that was the biggest piece of shit I've ever had. No I'm not adding an option for something that they should already do

    I don't think it take but 5 min of picketing a dealership before a sales manager was all about fixing your problem and making you happy. With social media these days, that kind stuff spears fast and wide in a hurry.

    I have decided that if and when my dealer says I'm just stuck with it. I will make a giant picket sign. And spend every min that they are open and that I'm not at work walking in front of the dealership with my sign. Have some friends in local media. I can make well known about the problems with the truck and the company. By he way, in my third loaner truck now. They all have a little shake to them too. But not as bad as mine is

    I will say that my dealer has been nothin but nice. They give me a loaner to drive while they work on mine. I just wish they would get it fixed.'

    I took my truck in for the third time yesterday. Shop foreman went for a ride with me. He said yes I feel it too. And it's a tire issue. They are gonna try again to balance the tires. He also said this is the third set of tires that's been on my truck. And if they can't fix it this time I may just be stuck with it. Said today's new tires are harder and they ride rougher. I said you mean my new $45k truck is just gonna have to ride worse than my daughters 02 ford escape? He really didn't have an answer for that. I have been nice up to his point, but if its not fixed this time!!! I can assure that I will get someone's attention !!!!!

    I got my truck back again on the 24th. One new tire and changed other 3 tires off of another truck. Much better than it was, but still shakes. Get up to 80 and you can nut in about 4 miles. Gonna drive it another week before I take it back. I keep it a week they keep it a week seems to be the process. I have the 18" good years.

    From what I've seen it don't much matter what tires are on these new trucks. If they vibrate they vibrate. Changing tires hasn't seemed to help a lot Of the people on here. I can't wait to see what my dealer comes back with this time. Guess as long as I'm driving a loaner truck from them I don't care how long they take as long as they get it right. Has anyone heard anything positive from their dealers yet?

    New to the post. Have had my new Sierra since nov.26. Dealer has had it more than I have. Sle crew cab standard bed 3.42 gears 5.3. First said I hit a curb and had to replace a tire. They had it for 7 days. This time said needed to road force balance it. ( they did last time also. 5 days later said there is a problem and they have a call into gm. Both of the loaners I've had and still have both vibe rate too. After reading this post I feel lucky that they admitted that there is a problem.
