  1. Mike You could not be more off base. I was actually thanking you not trying to be sarcastic. I am not sure how a thank you can cone off any other way but sorry you misread it. I realize that everyone has other things going on in their lives and appreciate any help I get. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  2. Spent more than 2 hours on the phone (most of which on hold), only to have the last guy say he sent all the data to engineers and he had no answer for me. He even went so far as to tell me to send it back for my money back. What I really want is a better tune for my truck not the money back so I might need to go somewhere else to get it. Any suggestions for another tuner?? And btw thanks a ton for taking the time to answer all my questions.
  3. Yes my trinity is updated with the latest software. Not sure what to do next. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
  4. Bought the diablo trinity, but can't seem to get it to work..
  5. So I received my Diablo Trinity in the mail very excited.. spent more than a few moments at my truck with failures each time followed by 20 min holds with Diablo, followed by another attempt...FAILED. I got to the part where it wants to save your factory tune and it refused to do so. Diablo asked me to get them a bunch of numbers off the trinity (it does connect to my engine), and I am now waiting for an engineer to figure out what the deal is. Anyone else have this problem, or know what the solution is?? Worst part of it is that my Gibson duals, and my K&N will be here on Tuesday and I was hoping to see what all would happen. Like most of you, my mileage has been horrific since I bought the truck.. i mean 11 city... 16 highway (downhill) Love to hear your feedback
  6. Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this but I am looking for a tuner for my 2014 Silverado z71, which seems to not only get crappy mileage, but is quite slow in doing so. Can anyone suggest a good tuner? Also, i have not yet done an air filter, nor exhaust so suggestions are really welcome. Thanks for the help

  8. I am trying to post some pix, but not having much luck. My profile pic has them on as does my signature. They look awesome! A bit of an offset would make them look even tougher, but with a truck that is wide as ours is to start, its tough to add even an inch to either side. If you do not want any rubbing is seems like you will need to go 3", or if like me you just will deal with a little rubbing when you mistakenly pull the wheel too far then 2.5 is fine. Best of luck!
  9. Thank you SOOO much for the information. So can I assume then that my options are 1)Deal with it by trying to avoid sharp turns, or 2)Put a higher level on.. (BTW, do they make a 3" level? or do i need to screw with a lift instead, and if so would the extra height create any other problems other than another alignment??)
  10. Sorry for being a noob, I guess what i need to better understand is WHERE it rubs first. If its interior then I would think the spacers would alleviate the problem. If its against the outside wheel well, which i don't think it is then the spacers would make the problem worse. BTW, thanks for taking the time to respond!
  11. The rubbing is not too bad, though with a truck whose turning radius is already pretty bad, shortening it further makes for very difficult parking. I put a 2.5"level on first and they ONLY rub during hard turns in both reverse and moving forward. I just want every bit of radius back i can get.
  12. Hey there all. So I am in need of some expert advice. I put a 2.5" level on my 2014 Silverado so I could fit the 285r60 DuraTracs in, but I am having rubbing in both reverse and hard turns. I was wondering how large the the spacers I need to get should be? Will 1" be enough or do i need to go to 1.5"? Oh yeah, the offset is flush, though I don't know the exact offset as I didn't do the work. Thanks a ton for any help you can give.
  13. WELL>>>>>> firmly, I love my truck, it is everything a pickup should be plus some, but…….. GM Lies!!!! Seriously! While I have gotten 21 on the highway once, when i first got the truck (i now have 1900 miles on my truck). But even then, the most i got in town was 12. Now granted it is winter, and my truck is sometimes in auto 4x4, but I drive like a grandmother trying to milk the very best mileage i can just for kicks and the truth is this truck does 11 in city, and 16-18 highway. I just completed putting a 2.5 inch level on it, and switched to DuraTracs 285R60 20s, and watched my mileage drop to 9ish in town and have yet to try a highway trip with it. Based upon what i read here---THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH-- i have not done the recall yet (can you actually get negative mileage?)
  14. I have a New.. under 1k 5.3L silverado stock, and got a best 20.5mpg and haven't seen it since. My in town on 4 auto is around 9, and my avg on 2w is 12-14. I tried babying it a bit, and goosed another mpg or 2 but no better.
  15. Just curious. I have a 2014 LTZ with 20s and I am looking to get a 2 inch level kit with duratrac 285/60/20 on stock wheels. Can someone give me some advice or let me know if they have seen this set-up before? Will I need to get wheel spacers? What level kit do you recommend. I wanna try to keep the cost low, but don't want to be cheap as I love my truck. Thanks again!
