  1. The dealer did the hose clamp fix. It only works temporarily. The seat will eventually start moving again on you, they are poorly/cheaply made. The dealers generally suck about it. It looks like the seat issues will ALWAYS come back unless they replace the frame. How many people have this problem and the dealers have said it's normal? It's incredibly aggravating to drive with the seat moving around and the dealer saying it's normal -- the back and forth with the dealer.
  2. Just wait. I've had mine in three times. At first they said it was normal. They eventually fixed it. Now I've got 36,000 miles on my '14 and it's worse than ever.
  3. The dealer said my seat in my '14 Denali was fine. After three visits they finally installed the hose clamps and it felt great. But only for a while. Now some movement is back. The seat now seems to move when I apply the brakes, forward and back. Not a very safe feeling!
  4. Holy crap!!! Is this what I have to look forward to? The dealer just installed those hose clamps on my seat after a YEAR of me complaining. It will be out of warranty in seven months, too. 2014 was a bad year for the Sierra...
  5. My dealer used the hose clamps to fix my seat!! WOW.
  6. I've got over 13k on my Sierra and I've had seat issues from the begining. Now it's just worse. At first, the local GMC dealer said it's normal -- they all do it. Next visit I had been feeling a side to side movement once in a while. They said they just put a clip in another customer's truck and they will order one for me. I am not sure what is going on with the seat. I know the plastic sides rub and squeek on the seat itself because it's too tight all the way around. It rubs on the the center console, too. I hopped in a 2015 Yukon in the showroom and it's the same design with the same issues I am having. The person in charge of those seats at GM should be in an unemployment line with the folks that let that bad ignition switch go in millions of GM vehicles. Poor design. Bet it won't be a problem in next year's models!
  7. My dealer said seat movement in my Sierra is typical at this time...within GM spec.
  8. Have the exact same issue with my seat! I shoved an Amor All wipe in there, but it keeps coming back. It is SO annoying!
