  1. There's no tray in the 2023s because the wireless charging is underneath the armrest, right below the center console open button. IMO, this is a much better place for it because it keeps the phone easily accessible but out of the way. I also like it better since it's solid across the top for when I rest my arm.
  2. LOL @ Marlea thinking she's going to help out with this when we all know GM has already told us to get bent. More lip service from GM Customer Care with no proof of results.
  3. Here's a quick comparison from a website that I use for tire measurements/clearances: The first wheel/tire is stock All-Star edition 18's and stock Goodyear tires. You can play around with this to get a feel for what might fit: http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp
  4. Glad to see that Plasti-dipping the inserts worked out for you. Makes me wish I would have completed mine all those months ago. Also pretty crazy to see how much taller and wider your M/Ts are compared to my same size Open Country A/Ts. Truck looks awesome, man.
  5. Yes, I did. I put the 1.5" top spacer on first and it wasn't enough to make the truck level so I added another 1" bottom spacer. Works fine, no issues.
  6. What is the offset of the wheels? I have the same set up and wondered if 35s would fit. The wheels Im looking at have a +0 offset.
  7. This is correct. Federal Couragia M/T. And they are definitely loud.
  8. I would not suggest a body kit if you do plowing because the bumper brackets have to be modified and everything fits a little differently when you do that. I have a 1.5" Zone body lift on my truck and when I installed my N-Fab light bar, it took a lot of measuring/cutting/grinding to the get the brackets to line up. Just something to think about.
  9. I've been using Gas Cubby for iPhone for awhile now. You can specify which fuel grade you use as well. I've only run 87 since E85 isn't available close enough to me.
  10. The black powdercoat is a glossy black finish and the textured is a matte rough finish. Not quite bedliner rough, but like textured walls rough. I have the textured finish and I. An tell you that you might want to be prepared to wait longer than 4 to 6 weeks. Mine took 8.
  11. Got my Dynomax VT system installed today (this system has the flapper built into the muffler). It is everything I expected! It has a nice low rumble when idling but a nice growl if you mash the pedal. Everyday V8 driving is not much louder than stock, but the tone is better. Everyday V4 driving is not as quiet as stock, but very very very little drone. Basically, if you're training your ear to hear it, then you'll notice it but if your wife or girlfriend got in the truck, she wouldn't even notice. Overall, I am extremely pleased as for me, this is the perfect combination of sound and loudness. Here are some pics and keep in mind that I have a 1.5" body lift on the truck, so the exhaust and tailpipe are a little more exposed than you would normally see.
  12. I've had them on for almost a year and the textured finish is holding up very well and still looks new. I'm sure you'll like them.
  13. I think it's still too much. I'm not sure what the maximum offset is for just a 2.5" level. IIRC, it needs to be 0 or higher (+). You might want to ask member baggedlvintegra as I know he's had a lot of different wheels and currently has 22x12s that are rubbing right now.
  14. I'm pretty sure those are going to rub like crazy. That negative offset is going to be the issue.
  15. Delete the resonator = louder exhaust Delete the flapper = drone in v4 mode Delete the resonator + keep the flapper = louder exhaust with little v4 drone Keep the resonator + keep the flapper = milder exhaust and no v4 drone - mostly hear exhaust when in v8 mode Delete the resonator + delete the flapper = get to the choppa! I think the third option is what you're looking for. If you're doing a 55 mph commute, you're going to want to keep that flapper as I would assume you would be in v4 mode most of that drive. The drone would probably drive you nuts if you didn't. You're going to hear it (v4 exhaust sound) more with the resonator deleted because it's going to be more pronounced with the resonator removed but in v8 mode, it will sound great.
  16. I have basically the same truck as you except crew cab. I have gone over wheel colors for a year now and still can't decide. Part of me wants all black to match the mirrors, door handles and steps. Part of me wants chrome to match the bumpers, grille and lettering. I've thought about painting to match all chrome to get closer to the red/black combo but I do like the way shiny chrome looks. Decisions, decisions.
  17. I'll know in a few weeks if the Dynomax VT system eliminates the V4 drone. It has the flapper built into the muffler itself and claims to eliminate any v4 drone but still let out a nice sound when the throttle is applied. I ordered it from Summit racing because free shipping but it won't be here until April 22nd.
  18. It probably looks like 39.5 in the front and 39.5 in the back.
  19. Great looking set up. Loved the wheels before, really digging the new tires. I'm positive the RTs will be my next set and your post confirms it.
  20. You're exactly right. They all get the job done. Even the stuff from eBay. When you're only talking about a spacer, it really doesn't matter that much. A Pro Comp spacer is probably the most expensive ($150 for 1.5") and it isn't any better than the same thing you can get elsewhere for a lot less money. As far as durability concerns and wear and tear, good for you that it is for your 2WD so no CV axle angles to worry about. Maybe some ball joints and premature strut wear but it should be awhile before you have to deal with that as long as you're not beating it to hell off-roading every day.
  21. Easy fix. Just do what I did. Order a 1" spacer from eBay that mints to the lower part of the strut, in between it and the lower control arm. That way, you don't have to pull the entire strut assembly out again.
  22. This was it with the 2.5" front level and before I installed the 1.5" body lift. No blocks in the rear. This is what it looks like with just a 1.5" spacer. Notice how it sits lower in the front.
