I also like the 4" round bars that are factory GM #22805436. But this is the only photo I've found online. Does anyone have these on their truck? I would love to see some more pics. According to the Chevy website they use GM accessory part #22805442. I got this photo from Amazon's website for that part number. It's hard to tell for sure from your photo. Do yours look like these? That's exactly what I need. But what do you call it? I've done some searching on the Internet and the only thing I've found that looks like that is a bed extender. But a bed extender goes the other way. Unless that's a bed extender turned around backward?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I think the key would be finding a way to attach or mount the rod to the inside wall of the bed or under the rail. Unless you can attach it somehow then it would just roll around in the bed. According to the Du-Ha website, their's can be mounted. It just wasn't very clear on how to attach the mount. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I went and had a tonneau cover put on my truck today. I was thinking how nice it would be if someone invented some sort of rod with a hook on the end, so that if you have luggage for example that gets pushed all the way to the front of the bed. You could use the hook to pull it to the back. That would eliminate having to unroll the cover or climb up inside the truck. Coming up with a rod should be easy. But somehow coming up with a way to attach it to the underside of the bed rail to keep it from rolling around in the bed would be the tricky part. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Has anyone ever purchased anything online from GMPartsdirect.com? I'm just wondering how reliable they are and are their products true GM parts? They seem to have very good pricing.

It looks great. I've considered chrome door handles, mirror, and body molding. But I know there's a fine line between improving the look and doing too much. So I can't decide if I want all those items chromed out or just some of them.

Looks good to me. Did you buy the color matched mirrors or have them painted?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but I've spent the last two days reading through this entire thread. It's been very informative. I purchased a 2014 Silverado a couple weeks back and I can't wait to add some of these modifications. The one thing I keep reading that really surprises me is people getting rid of the chrome on their trucks. I know everyone's taste is different, but I think some chrome really adds to the look of the truck. I have the blue granite metallic and have been shopping around online for some chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, and the chrome body molding. So what is it about the chrome that people don't like? You guys have me really questioning my decision.
