  4. I used to have a copy but lost it somewhere. You should be able to get a pretty good idea by looking at the load range for a similar ply and size tire. I've got a set of 'E' range Dynapro ATM's (275/65/r18's) and having been running at 50psi. If I remember correctly its about 7lbs high for general unloaded driving but things didn't feel right when I dropped the pressure down to 43lbs. BTW really have been liking how the Dynapro ATM's have been working for general all around tires. Pretty quiet compared to the Duratracs my wife had on her Disco, and the Dynapro's have had nice handling characteristics so far.

Halogen - Philips Automotive 9011B1 12V 65W PX20d HIR They're in a 2014 Sierra after the BCM update. I've actually been pretty pleased with the improvement over the Volsa bulbs supplied with the update.

  7. Hey there neighbor! I'm out of Cave Spring, so if you find someone local who can fab up a panel that fits that cubbyhole let me know and I'd probably be willing to go in on it with you. Couple things for you to kick over if you haven't already thought of it: 1) if you are only wanting a couple of switched accessories, I know there are folks that are using the homelink buttons in combination with an aftermarket receiver to control relays: http://www.amazon.com/AGT-Waterproof-Wireless-Universal-2-Channel/dp/B0068D0OBI 2) These guys are pretty cool to work with for switches: http://www.otrattw.net/home.php I used them for switches when I added an aux. panel to my tractor for lights and and to control a sprayer. They did a custom label for one of my switches. 3) I haven't done it yet, but on the driver's side door pillar, in between the hinges, there should be a plastic plug that can be pulled that would allow you to route from the driver's side of the engine bay up behind the hood hinge and through the door frame and into the cab. Sorry don't have pics at the moment otherwise I would post up. I haven't done anything yet in regards to adding switches to my truck, but I've been thinking pretty heavily. I'll definitely being following this to see how it goes. Best of luck.

  13. Thanks for the responses. Sorry I got a bit busy with the kids over the holiday and hadn't had a chance to reply until now. I know plenty of people have run through the steering wheel boot, I'm just a little hesitant about doing so at the moment. Resqu2 - I like the idea of going alongside the e-brake cable what gauge wire did you use and how many runs do you have going through that area? I am going to give a shot at trying to find the mythical accessory harness grommet the upfitters manual recommends for running snowplow wiring: Electrical Manual pg 75 and 76. I would assume that even though my truck is a crew cab the plug should still be there.
  14. As the title says, for those of you doing mods, how have you routed any new wiring through your Sierra/GMC's firewall? I apologize if this has been covered somewhere and I have missed it in my searching. I am contemplating doing a number of mods to my Sierra which would require running wires into the cab for switching. I'd love to be able to do this relatively cleanly. Any thoughts about: 1) Pre-existing unused firewall ports. 2) Pulling wires through the door frame. One mine there seems to be a unused hole covered by a plastic/plug? 3) Running up through the floor somewhere? 4) Coming in through the back of the cab. While haven't checked I do remember reading somewhere that a guy had run control wires for his flashers through the cab vents at the back of his older model crew cab. Thanks in advance.
