  3. Hey Big bad Sierra is the bug guard the style that wraps under the hood if so how was the clearances?
  4. Just got my truck back from dealer for several updates and she's light, u guessed it is this code they had to order me part, apparently this is becoming a common issues he told me water seems to be getting into these, I am not familiar with what it where this part is but it first happen while I was washing the truck, then again on a super damp morning after I cleared it myself the first time thinking it was the gas cap
  5. Just wanted to jump in n say I bought my truck right before Xmas, headlight were fogged when I picked it up, made note of it, after a week still there so I went back, they ordered me a pair, put in last Monday, no issues since and several car washes
  6. Well I got the low pro at, and after seen it on there cantnimagine how pizzed I'd be if I chose another, 10 thumbs up, I'll snap a pic tomorrow
  7. I had the lo pro qt and loved it lose a inch on each side, note it is solid I leaned stuff against it before, I wrestled with the tonnopro version, but its about 140 difference its alotta piece of mind, gonna order mine within a week, found it for 399 that's the best so far, to my door
  8. anyone running these? http://www.tonnopro.com/loroll.php Seems offly similar to the Truxedo lo pro GT, i was wondering if it is with a diff name,
  9. Posvett, thanks definitely gonna get in there case, may take a ride tomorrow,
  10. My dealer was sposed to order me a pair of headlights, been 3 weeks not a word, guess I need to call, how long has it been taking u guys to get yours? Maybe there's a backorder
  11. That tonno loroll looks exactly like my truxedo lo pro did, can't help but wonder if its got a different patch on there, can one of u guys take a pic of the Velcro and latch system for me please? Thanks
  12. Does the truxport operate the same? Velcro on edges, and tab to lock it?
  13. Been wondering about this local guy sells them for 179, seems like a whale of a price, but haven't seen or touched one yet, nice to hear a hands on experience, hmmm
  14. Welcome aboard, the truxedo lo pro gt is awesome, 6 years no issues, used all year, it rolls up and the crossmemeber rolls up to, Velcro held up great and made winter use a breeze, I only asked about the truxport because its cheaper, if its the same operation, I will buy it, if not I will pony up for the GT, my previous truck had bed rails so I have to have a in rail system, don't think I'm gonna go with the bed rails on this truck
  15. does anyone know if the truxedo truxport is the same design as the lo pro gt? is the difference the fact that its goes over the rail instead of inside? or is it totally different system,
  16. AWesome thanks!!
  17. me too, dealer ordered me new ones monday
  18. its crap, and if you miss the cutoff at 10 mins, now your restarting the truck, can we say premature starter fail???? I start it after first alarm and then try and catch it ri after the snooze at 10 mins, sometimes I do sometimes I dont, and even after 20 mins on the cold cold days weve had that truck is still cold, my 05 would be warm and defrosted, I have not scraped a window in years, this might be my biggest complaint on this truck, magnified bye the fact that I work outside and the range on the remote is utterly horrible thank god for my onstar app that I won't have next year, maybe I will subscribe for the winter, actually i plan on still putting in a aftermarket system, and the jabs earlier in the thread I get because I had a similar thread a while back and got told that its not right to have a vehicle run that long, BOTTOM line is I work outside and when I'm freezing my tooshie off all day i want a warm truck, and bye the way GM I paid 40k for this dam truck and its my dam truck and with all the crap on there (intelilink) I still can't personalize "MY" truck. don't even get me started on why I can't dim the intelilink screen separately then the gauges thats gripe #2, Otherwise its the best looking truck out there and rides like a dream! we will see how she tows in 4 months
