  1. seems like people are making excuses, if Ford can do GM should have the option. Denali.....
  2. good thing you should still have a warranty?
  3. I only use the nav in my 15 denali when I send it the address through the onstar app. Not sure how people don't like that. For actually inputting the address and going through it with buttons, I never was a fan. Really slow. I don't think I would pay that much for a nav update.
  4. Not sure if the whole tsb was posted, but it sounds like what you are complaining about is considered normal for these trucks. The thing that jumped out to me was Typically this can only be heard with all accessories and HVAC off and only when actuator movement is required. Is it really that bad?
  5. I def wouldn't call it a "mod" to remove it and agree if you don't need it just don't open it but to replace the glass is pretty baffeling. I have to admit I have only opened mine like 3-4 mostly to show people what it does and when the kids are back there saying to open it. Smallest window ever
  6. I was just confused because I have taken the negative off plenty of running cars and the car doesn't shut off. Maybe something is different with the newer trucks, not sure
  7. why would taking off the ground shut it off?
  8. I thought they made them vin specific so people can't buy used ones or make copies etc? I do really like the remote link feature of send to the head unit but other than that I don't use the nav. Doubt I will use it much when my onstar trial runs out and will just use my phone google maps like everyone says. I think the updates should be free if you are in warranty (or just free in general the prices are ridiculous)
  9. I don't think anyone was attacking you and if you are referring to my quit yelling comment, it was a joke and probably should have put a smiley or 2. The point is that you took the truck to multiple dealers and they said it was normal, then listened to another truck which also ticks.. so I'm leaning more towards it being normal instead of GM and the dealers trying to make your owner experience bad. Dealers/service techs make money fixing peoples cars and while they claim they don't make as much money when they are under warranty I still think the techs would like to fix your truck if it actually had a problem. If you would rather take the word of some people online who haven't seen/heard your truck vs the actual people that work on these trucks that is fine. Both sources are saying the ticking is normal. Might just be me, but peoples post who claim dealers don't want to help them just rub me the wrong way. Why would they not want to help? Why would they not want to try to make a customer happy? I am biased because every time I go to my gmc dealer I feel like I get treated like a king and they want my service work. (and to buy new cars in the future)
  10. no need to yell and as others have stated it is probably the direct injection noise, or you can go with your own theory of every dealer in your area is against you. They/GM have came up the plan and are working together not to fix your truck. 6.2 ticks, first thinh I noticed when I test drove one before I ordered mine.
  11. haha that is so gross. That cat is just terrible, def update this thread I want to know what it is smelling like that
  12. Just picked up a 2015 Sierra Denali 6.2 yesterday, loving it so far but already miss the quadrasteer a little 04 has been a great truck but the 2015 is leaps and bounds better
  13. A little off topic kinda, but as it was said before dealers are the worst to ask about different custom/mod stuff. From my days back to swapping honda motors 15 years ago(auto to 5speed, engine swap) to putting an LS7 Clutch in my Cadillac V1 I have been told no you can't do that multiple times by Honda techs, GM "master technicians. Lets just say my honda did turn into an auto with an engine swap and my CTS V got a lightweight flywheel LS7 clutch running perfect. Pretty sure when I go ask gm about adding wireless charging to my Sierra from a Yukon they will say the same thing, can't be done. Shit they said I had to have a tune to run my Airrad intake in my Cadillac V2, car is pulling nicely No reason you can't swap steering wheels and make it work
  14. so if I just ordered a truck and it won't be built for 8-10 weeks it will come with the denali stamp on the machined wheels?
