  1. Do the rear vents work on all settings or only on the floor setting? I usually roll around with the heat on the windshield because I don't like heating blowing in my face, so would the rear seat passengers be getting any heat on defrost setting?
  2. I always swerve to avoid bags on the road, they are a menace.
  3. Replaced my battery and for some reason the speedo was stuck on max. I unplugged the cluster and plugged it back in, solved the problem.
  4. My front brake calipers didn't have the little clips that the tops and bottoms of the brake pads ride along and that caused a bit of a rattle. It wouldn't rattle when I had my foot on the brake but when they were loose they made a bit of sound on rough roads.
  5. It was interesting seeing all the work you've done to your truck, good job!
  6. Washed all the interiors of my truck; engine bay, cab, box, greased the driveshaft, topped up the tire pressure, sprayed some wd40 on the locking mechanism on my cap because it's being a prick, took knee bolster off and plan on listening for the mystery rattle somewhere in my dash(the truck has more rattles than I can count that I want to eventually track down and correct), taped up a weathered conduit in the engine bay for my MAF sensor wires. Later I am going to hopefully find out where that annoying dash rattle is coming from.
  7. When I put mine on the scale the other day(02 Silverado 1500 Ext. cab RWD) it weighed 5500lbs with me in it and a few hundred pounds maybe worth of misc. stuff. I also have a cap.
  8. Cleaned throttle body/IAC valve.
  9. I think I may have that exact same problem, going to check it out tomorrow. Also I put on a new muffler today, sounds a lot louder than the stock muffler. Somehow broke a leaf spring shackle today too.....
  10. Did 6-Hi mod with Lows/Highs/DRL. No fog lights equipped though, either thinking about adding them or spot lights in the future.
  11. MAF wasn't the problem, so I'm going to try swapping out the IAC and see if that helps my problem.
  12. I cleaned it recently when I cleaned my throttle body. But not sure if it's good or not, will find out anyway.
  13. Lol thanks, I'm hoping it's solved. Will report back tomorrow morning on that 1.
  14. Tried cleaning it with MAF cleaner, didn't help. The truck would stumble when started on cold mornings, but when I unplugged the MAF, it would run fine, plug it back in, it would try to stall or stall. I will find out tomorrow morning when the temp is cold if the MAF was actually my problem. Probably should have tested it with a multimeter before replacing it lol. The wires didn't look broken either.
  15. Appreciate the offer man! I enjoy driving and working on this truck, except crawling underneath because it's 2wd so it's pretty low to the ground lol. I wish I had a lift for the sake of working underneath the truck and of course it looks good. Just had from what I could tell a MAF problem, but a new MAF from the scrapyard hopefully has solved that problem.
  16. Congrats on the new truck! My 02 looks like your play truck but factory ride height and pretty much factory everything lol. Just got the truck a few months ago, and I love it!
  17. First post, thanks for the idea to do 4-hi mod on my 02 Silvy. Nice truck, it looks beast with that lift!
