  1. my '14 had it ........my '15 have it too.
  2. make sure you get flat washer with bolts.......hold better on long term..... you will love the center console really great addition
  3. We talk about the 2 bolt that secure the front console to dash......2x m6x1 with washersome They bolt in the bracket you install instead the ashtray......you can install them or not but not having they will loose the front of console and making noise....so for about 10 cents it is a great addition you may take consideration
  4. to do this you need to plug the 3 usb with connectors and usb that normally plug in the center socket (under armrest) and no you won't need extra usb except if you want the center socket as charger for my part i keep the 3 usb only for charging because i'm always afraid to broke a usb key in socket because its location........the one under the armrest is safer for me and also because i have sd car reader in it too ..........i use only sd card in fact for music........more little
  5. For the light inside the console compartment, you have to run the wire from the front 12v socket to have light anytime the lid is open. Read the entire post here....every parts. Accessories and installation instructions are write-down here
  6. center console with manual 4x4........i keep it without knob. this way it is hide and not really more hard to put in 4x4 some of you can make an extension but i drove it this way all winter and used 4x4 often and it was not a problem for me
  7. Even if the harness is different it will be always the same.......need both harness to make one
  8. I still plan to make one but I also love the hidden arm. Obviously it is harder to shift without the handle but even that I love it ...maybe if I become weaker I will built one lol
  9. You only have to remove the plastic trim where 4h 4l and 2h is write. It is seal so nothing will come inside . Once console will be install you will have to built a shaft to fit over the oem because the angle won't be OK but it is not hard to do.....I drive mine since a long time now and use my 4x4 often and no problem at all and easy to shift
  10. For usb charging you need to have radio option io4,io5 or io6 (because they are the only option that have a HMI behind the lower glove box) then you need to plug a mini usb male inside the usb socket until the HMI with the other side of cable that it is also a mini usb male This cable can be done with 2 cable (cut and sold them togheter) Or be bought but the only place I found some was on ebay and hard to find Hope this will help for usb charging. And don't forget you need a usb cable AND connecting also pin 4 and 6 to ground and Positif voltage
  11. For the number 4 y can run a wire with the correct terminal from left block fuse. (it have a fuse already installed and nothing connect to it) then this way you have 2 x 12v with 15 amp on each. You can also do the same with the rear socket in console (the one for rear seat) but need to run a wire from right block fuse. There is also a fuse with nothing connect to it Left block fuse is always powered and right block fuse is R.A.P. (powered 10 min after key is removed or until driver door is open. Light and usb for charging can be tap on the front 12v socket
  12. Cup holder come with the plate. The 2 missing bolts you will need are m6x1.0 x 1 inch length. All the project is doable in about 2 to 3 hours. Took 2 hours to do the last one I did.
  13. Oups I forgot to include a pic lol
  14. Nothing on my truck but just bought this awsome brand new monster
  15. use plastic tools and be careful .......it is so thin then remove radio screen then the switch
  16. it's a good idea to buy a harness but you will still need to modify the harness because there isn't not enough wires in center seat harness to make all connection compare to console harness it's relatively easy to remove the harness from center seat console have 1x 12 v socket more in rear and a light under the lid (not in center seat) and the light need to have constant 12 volt with or without key in
  17. to install bracket , i only removed the ashtray (it's harder but shorter in time for the light inside console i run the wire to the front 12 v socket as the voltage is always present so i have light inside console as soon as i lift the lid ...no key in need for the usb hub quesion.........no....hmi won't recognize it.......you can only use the fronts usb as charger but need to run a 12v and a ground and plug the usb to hmi in the free slot
  18. if you checked this thread, you probably saw 5 numbers total for console, they are: console assy (with rear trim), left side trim, right side trim, top with cup holder and bracket,,,,,,,,,,,,they are the only parts you need to do all the project the only thing you will need is a mini usb cable male to male or just the half and you will sold it to your existing cable (if you are handy) if you don't have the usb cable the 3 usb in front of console won'T work .......but not much the console is sold completely assy and every socket, light and switch are already installed inside. for the fronts plugs, they are parts of the top with cup holder you will recuperate your usb cable for the rear multimedia reader and the connector with some leads to connect your console
  19. i have my truck since middle of March i did weathertech floor mat, center console (all fonctionnal), upfitter switch, cover seat, under seats light, driver assist handle, new wheels mag, new tires and bigger a little, 2" levelling front, round oem step bar, plastidip front and rear bowties, removed all others chromes parts, installed a tonneau cover soft trifold, oem rear fenders liners and a bed liner. TODAY i have wash again and wax the beast, installed a tail gate shock, a trailer brake controller and a small check up ( 4000 km ) i want oem towing power mirrors with rear view led, heating, powerfold and black no chrome........soon soon
  20. i have one to sell if you look back in this post , you can see it if you are not too fair from Quebec (canada) it can be a deal for you ( because shipping can be an ass) the console is complete and include the bracket and connectors you will need to do all the project
  21. It's exactly what I did for the plug to the fronts usb Everything's else was done almost the same except I ran power for extra 12v socket from the right fuse it suppose to be. I can affirm it will work for you the way you did it and what you will do for usb
  22. as you said , if you don'T use every plug at their max capacity., splitting the harness between 2 plugs will do the job . i was not judging anyone ...i'm only a little obsessive with details lol still have a console to sell here (just in case noone read it yet ) from Quebec, Canada
  23. On both console I installed, everything work as they should do. Only those 3 USB are only for charging but not for music. I got 12v from left bloc fuse as it is on a oem one. My both console was installed as oem with right fuse for right accessories I don't like something not done professionally. I'm mechanic for GM so I work as GM want it lol
  24. it seem my both center seat i had was easier to sell than my actual spare console lol i did console mod twice and both times it took 2 days to sell the seat now i have a spare console and i ask less than many who sell their seat .......and still not sold
