  1. I'm dealing with Kristen Ashcroft from Autocustoms.com it says in the mail... When I go to the bakflip website dial their number these are the people I get ... I don't know ... Hopefully I didn't get a bum website by mistake when I ordered ... When I ordered I was told I was talking with bakflip personnel , just seems that with customer service this is what I'm getting now.
  2. MIT was installed couple days after getting the truck Stock air box with KN Was in when I was data logging for Black Bear... MIT is a quality piece I was contemplating a whipple super charger because the truck felt under powered / lagged but the tune makes the truck feel great now. Not that I won't get a whipple in the future
  3. Put the Corsa Catback exhaust with dual rear exit tips on few days ago... Excellent sound... Very deep rumble... No drone (AFM turned off before install) ... Not too loud even at WOT. Big thumbs up for this system ...
  4. Disappointed with my F1 Bakflip is an understatement... The rail that mounts to the bed has a rivet that sits up high and will not allow the back flap to sit flush... The weather stripping on that back deck came off yesterday or this morning... When unpacking it a few days ago there was some metal shavings in the packaging, few scratches on the cover... Just didn't seem quality for 1k$. I contacted bakflip for a rma to refund and found out when you call the number on bakflips website you do not deal with bakflip. You deal with a third party agency. Contacted my CC company to file a grievance incase I get stalled on my rma and refund ... Ordered directly from bakflip on June 26th received it about a week ago. My buddies have a F1 with no issues... Hopefully just got a bad apple and they aren't dropping QC.
  5. yep. Just something I am not used to... others might not be as well, just wanted to post up a good review of the process
  6. Just installed my Black Bear tune today... 100% worth the money. truck feels like and performs like it should have out the door. Throttle response is excellent, shifts are crisp and firm, definitely a increase in power... though i was running 87 oct on stock tune, now im running 91 oct w/ 91 tune... I was a little apprehensive about doing everything by email... i can understand why they do this though, i imagine they would not be getting any work done with all the phone calls. They responded back at end of next day with my email questions, only took 2 days to get the tune in once i submitted the files. Thanks Again.
  7. I ordered mine with the check valve? Will that cause any issues?
  8. Hello All, Just started checking this site out after purchasing my new truck a week ago... Lots of good info here, thank you. Lots of money spent already on aftermarket... remember this rabbit hole from my Gen4 FBody days .... ha Picture of the truck... already have a few mods on it... AirRaid MIT / KN Filter. Line-X just got sprayed today. AMP Power Steps, BakFlip F1, Corsa Catback, Husky Mats, Front/Rear Bilstein 5100s to level her out , Elite Catch Can, Bull Rings. ( inbound ) I must say it is a good thing I didnt check this forum before I bought my truck, lots of talk of vibrations and shaking, lemon law, and buyback talk... would have put me off buying. So far everything is great ( first 500 anyways ). I will agree that the transmission / throttle response on the 5.3L/6spd is blah compared to my 2010 Dodge, but I disconnected the battery after reading about the learning the transmission does... seemed to help , i did baby the truck off the lot for sure. All in all a way better truck in quality, ride, features, and looks. Thanks for all the info... looking forward to adding to the forum.
