  1. Also, the 2WD and 4WD has nothing to do with lowering the rear. The only reason McGaughys has only offered the 2/4 is because the spindlet relocates the wheel hub up and does not change the suspension geometry at all. This means it does not change the location of the sensor arm. I have already have a way to go lower in the front of the Mag ride trucks just haven't had someone local that wants to go that low......yet. Another advantage to the adjustable links, is it allows you to change the response of the Mag Ride with a simple adjustment with a wrench.
  2. I just wish they would have said "thanks" for pointing them in the right direction. Back when Mike started the company he consulted with my fathers best friend on his Tri-Five Chevy parts. Most people don't know this, but Mike started McGaughys years ago from making small parts for 55-57 Chevys out of his garage and selling them off a small advertisment in hotrod magazine. I just wish his kid/s had the same values as he does.
  3. 2WD and it is done with McGaughys stuff. The leafs are the same from 99-15. I made the adjustable links I don't know what more you want to know about the links. McGaughys got the idea about the rods when I told them what I did. The sad part is they made fixed rods which we all know the manufacturing tolerances for suspension is a joke so a fixed rod isn't ideal. Their rods also require you to pull apart your factory rods which isn't a good idea. They are a snap fit and aren't made to be pulled back apart. The plastic end links are very fragile and I will bet they will have multiple cases of people screwing them up.
  4. McGaughys or anyone else for that matter should say to bend the factory rods. I told Mcgaughys that almost 6 months ago. Bending the rods does not keep the same "sweep" with the sensors as the ride height changes.
  5. 2015 Denali dropped 2/4 with spindles and leafs/shackles and my adjustable links for the Mag Ride. 295/40/24 on 24x10 Centerline Archers 2015 Silverado leveled with Shackles and .5" block swap. 305/45/22 on Centerline Stingray IIIs
  6. What are you talking about? I'm still shooting the good stuff day in and day out.
  7. I entered into the Good Guys show this weekend.... It is going to be one hell of a rat race.

  9. Centerline Stingray III 22x9 Cooper XSTa 305/45/22
  10. You buying? Unfortunately that will never happen. I'm building another car right now and all the cool parts are going on it.
  11. It was a rhetorical question.
  12. Just because it is a pet peeve of mine...WTF is a rebel flag?
  13. No Sir... It is a truck. LSX Driveline T-buckets were made from 1923 to 1927.
  14. Finally got mine all cleaned up and the new cover craft cover on her
  15. I finished painting a few additions to the truck.
  16. I ordered a custom cover craft cover for our 32 ford today. Also started measuring for the oil pan for the 64 Pontiac Grand Prix we are restoring.
  17. I personally use all Chemical Guys products, but there are several quality/affordable products on the market. I forgot about the Griots machine. I had one about 6 years ago and I believe my cousin has it now. Here is a quick picture of my 12 year old Tahoe. Going the extra mile to protect the finish of your vehicle makes a huge difference in the long run.
  18. With the better polishers on the market I wouldn't even consider a rotary. I still have one but haven't used it in over 5 years. I use either my Flex 3401 or my Porter Cable 7424. You can pick up a 7424 with a backing plate and pads for under 200.00 Here is a link to a really nice starter kit: http://www.chemicalguys.com/Porter_Cable_Complete_Detailing_Kit_p/buf_209.htm
  19. Old Picture of the Tahoe hauling the 32. Hopefully we will be showing the truck at Good Guys this year and I can haul it with the new truck
