  1. Digging through multiple threads trying to find someone running this kit with the 3.0l duramax. Has anyone done this? I'm wanting to also run the 33x12.5 Toyo RTs after the eibach kit has been installed. Any response is greatly appreciated.
  2. Shield 9mm with a bunch of extra crap done to it.
  3. I carry a M&P shield.
  4. I don't doubt there are a few unicorns out there. It is still slow in my eyes, but to each their own. The car I'm toying with now should run a 8.99 or faster this weekend... Fingers crossed.
  5. My buddy Jason has a 14 6.2L Denali and did cut off at 92. Another friend Tyler's 15 6.2L Denali was at 99. Both truck are tuned now so their foot determines cut off
  6. I have seen numbers like that out of very lightly modded 6.2L trucks but not from factory stock trucks.
  7. Shaking my head.... I get all that crap from my sister in-law (much younger). I often feel like an NSA agent decoding her messages.
  8. Carl it looks like the wonders of Josh and Zane got you on the pay-for-play. Congrats on being a vendor.
  9. My comment wasn't directed towards you and I wasn't quoting you, but now I am. I was quoting the person above about the "internet racers". I like what you had done with the E85 upgrade, it is something I will do as well and even asked Carl about a price for the parts. I'm not doing it to go around bragging or to try to race people on my key board like often happens on these forums. <<<< Not saying you have so don't go and take that out of context too. I would do it to simply have the availability to use E85 as my 15 can't as of now. So in the end I didn't "yuk" anything... So enjoy that "yum" you have there.
  10. I just think its funny people drive trucks that weigh 5000+lbs and they want to get into a dick measuring contest about who has the faster 15 second truck.
  11. I only go aftermarket. After multiple factory wheels with finish issues and GM never standing behind them... I don't think I will ever go down that road again. 92 Firehawk - Clear cracked, yellowed, and peeled... Got left out in the cold 99 Camaro - Chrome peeling 07 TBSS - Brand new truck had a casting defect. Had it replaced with a out of round wheel. Third wheel they got it right then I sold the truck 04 Tahoe Z71 - Again with the finish peeling. I only run billet wheels on my stuff now and have for a good while. You get what you pay for!
  12. Do you sell the parts to get this done? If so shoot me a PM. I could probably source everything myself, but I'm too lazy for that.
  13. There is a guy in Fort Worth that did mine and was very cheap for Xpel Ultimate film.
  14. ARE told me to basically go pound sand. Talking with the dealer I bought it from now. Pretty pissed I went a bought something like this I'm going to have to repaint because the manufacturer won't stand behind it. WARNING be-careful when you buy an ARE product.
  15. Got my ARE cover. First time out in the sun and the color is off. The front bulkhead seal has 1/4" gaps at the corners, and I'm not fond of the extreme fiberglass wave it has on the sides. I'm working with ARE now to see if they will send a replacement.. Time will tell.
  16. Here is mine: Has Corsa Exhaust now and an ARE LSX cover on the way for it
  17. No his issue is still there based on the PM he sent me.
  18. I get a kick out of people that post about their ASE certs... Congrats you can read and retain the information. Modern day techs have it easy now. Type in problem....computer spits back what to check... go check.. type in what you found...computer not only tells you what the problem is, it gives you step by step instructions. It is a great thing, it really is but it damn sure isn't like the ole days of real trouble shooting and using your brain to figure out what was going on. I know this will make the techs here all butt hurt and that is fine, but I'm not lying.
  19. It was more of a joke, and there is more into the ones I make. I just gave you the parts of what we used for the temporary units while I built the ones that are on the truck now. The temp units will work just as good, but they look like crap and I can't have my parts looking like crap. The finished rods are RH and LH threaded so you can simply loosen the jam nuts and adjust the link by turning the center tube. The finished rods look like a miniature version of this:
  20. If you want a set made...
  21. I used stainless 1/4x28 rod ends, stainless threaded rod, stainless jam nuts, and stainless M6x10MM Hex head bolts.
