  1. That didn't even cross my mind but makes perfect sense. I will try and find a cluster out of a Diesel. Thanks for the help!
  2. And would the escalade cluster fit in the sierra?
  3. I have a 2016 SLT 2500HD Diesel, do I need a cluster out of a denali diesel or will one out of a yukon denali work for me. I realize it has to be a 2016 for a 2016. Thanks for any help!
  4. There is no comparison between the two trucks. I had a 2004 duramax before that was tuned and lifted 8 inches on 37's and went to the 2015 1500 LTZ 5.3. Never should have made that switch. The 1500 transmission was horrible and gas mileage sucked. I would pull my 22' pontoon boat with it and would get about 6 to 8 miles to the gallon. Traded it in within 10 months of owning it and got the new 2016 Duramax. Ride was a litle stiffer of course but the power of the diesel and backed with the allison transmission is a no brainer in my opinion. Yeah the oil changes cost a little more but I don't really notice the diesel truck costing to maintain it anymore than the gas truck. You won't regret getting the duramx!!
  5. Out with the old and in with the new about 6 months ago.
  6. Here is a couple pics of my new addition Started with a 2004 Duramax with 8"s of lit and 20x12 -44 with 37x13.50x20 Nitto Mud Grapplers and traded it in on a 2015 Chevy 1500 and added a 4" Fabtech with 20x10 -24 and 33x12.50x20 Nitto R/T's which was a huge mistake and now I'm back in a 2016 2500HD GMC SLT Duramax with a ready lift leveling kit and 22x12 -44 KMC Wheels and 33x12.50x22. Just ordered some Cognito UCA's and Fox Shocks to go on all 4 corners.
  7. Yeah hopefully everything works out for you. I know I went with the Fabtech 4" kit which is basically a glorified leveling kit with tubular upper control arms and a drop down diff bracket and a block and new shocks for the rear. The truck rides great and I didn't have to trim anything after that. I was wondering if I were to add the Zone 1.5" body lift would I be able to run 35's?
  8. I was running the ready lift 2.25" and it was rubbing on the inner fender basically where the fender liner bolts to the bottom of the fender. I probably could have trimmed a few things but I really didn't want to cut up a new truck. My other option was to put the zone 1.5" body lift on but the shop that I go to doesn't care to do them and charges a little more for the labor, lol. I know every truck is different but I just thought I would share my experience with you. By the way the Toyo R/T's are great tires. Hardly any road noise and they look great.
  9. Good looking truck. I have a 2015 crew cab with a leveling kit and I am running 20x10 -24 offset wheels and 33x12.50x20 Toyo R/T's and it rubbed pretty bad. It's manageable to drive around town but you need to be cautious of it. I eventually had to put a Fabtech 4" on the truck. Here are some pics before the 4" kit.
  10. Sorry probably should have put this in the LED thread.
  11. Ok so I am fairly new to this forum and I have a dumb question. Are there any LED bulbs that I can just plug into my factory light sockets (meaning the headlights and fog lights) without adding any addition ballast or anything? I have a 2015 LTZ CC with the projector lights?
  12. The ready lift level is great in my opinion. It made the truck sit pretty level with no added block in the rear.
  13. I don't think so. I have that same wheel and 33x12.50x20 Toyo RT's with a 2.25 ready lift leveling kit and It was manageable to drive around town but it did rub pretty good. There would be no way to make a u turn unless you did some major trimming. I went with the Fabtech 4" kit and it solved all my problems. First 2 pics are with just the leveling kit and the 3rd is with the 4" kit
  14. Tires were rubbing pretty good so I took off the leveling kit and put on the 4" Fabtech kit. No rubbing and no trimming at all. Sorry for the bad pic but it's the only one I have. lol
