  1. Take this topic with a grain of salt, I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado and it is buttery smooth. Yes there is an issue, but this whole site is where people with problems come to vent/look for solutions. There are Many more smooth trucks out there, then there are ones that shake. You can look up any new truck or car and find problems people are having with them. My real complaint is the tranny in traffic. I hate driving my truck in traffic. But I put it in M2 and problem solved. If you want a new truck, go for it. Don't let this thread stop you. PS I have the 5.3, great motor, but I wish I had the 6.2. Good luck
  2. I bet! The 6.2 seems like it would be amazing! You feel any power loss with the weight of those tires?? I want something a bit beefier, but don't want to lose power due to the weight
  3. Yea. These forums help, but then they are also filled with a bunch of nonsense. No way to tell. I have those shocks and know how great the ride is, so either way boot up or down I'm sure they are just fine. just thought I'd give my two cents hoping it would help out a fellow Chevy owner. You got a very nice truck! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!
  4. The boot is supposed to be down my friend. Bilstein sets their shocks up to where you should be able to read the reading on the shock when it is installed.
  5. They aren't to heavy?
  6. Did you regear?
  7. That's perfect. Thank you! Let me know how the Denali goes with the 305s.
  8. Anyone running 305/50r20 on stock rims with a 2 inch lift? I only have the bilstein 5100s at full height. So really only a 1.75 inch lift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Perfect. Stock size it is. Thanks man!
  10. Enough to where you would go back to stock size?
  11. Feel any loss of power with the taller tires?
  12. My truck has a little whistle to it. Nothing crazy but it sounds like a tiny turbo... I have a stock 2015 Silverado 5.3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Get rid of the bottom block and it won't be so harsh. I have mine at the top setting. Yes it's stiff but it rides like a truck should nothing out of the ordinary. Try taking them off before you drop more cash on paying a shop to mess with the settings on the bilsteins. If it's not good. Then when you have the shop adjust the bilsteins....have them out the block back in. Process of elimination. ...you've adjusted the bilsteins once, still not what you want, try something else.. Good luck. PS. The bilsteins were the best investment could have done on my truck. People constantly comment on how nice it rides.
  14. Bilsteins at max height is a stiffer ride than stock (black shocks). But with it being stiffer, it comes along with feeling planted to the ground better. It doesn't bounce while making a moderately tight turn. My truck felt like the front end would bounce across the road with the stock shocks. Now I have a 2WD so maybe the lack of weight on the front made me feel that way. But all that being said. The bilsteins add height but don't completely level the truck. In my opinion it is the best upgrade that you can do to the truck especially for the price. Now the foxs and such, I'm sure are even better but for 340 or something like that it's the best bang for your buck. It drives like a truck now Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You think I would rub running stock wheels and just the bilstein 5100 at max height? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I could not be happier that you just said that. Those are what I've been looking for in a truck forever. Thanks man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. What size tires are those? Truck looks awesome! Probably my favorite that I've seen on here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. . Could have used 4WD in this situation. (Wont make that mistake again). But truck ran great!!! Love this truck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. How exactly did you color match the grill. I'm considering doing it on my slate grey 2015 LT.
  20. Don't use the bilsteins and a level kit. I've heard terrible things. The ride gets real bad
  21. Bilstein 5100 fronts and rears, tint to come in near future and looking at some 305/50r20s open to suggestions on other things i should do too in no hurry love this truck!
