  1. Im guessing a knuckle lift and no spacers
  2. Here it is http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/199328-zone-45-to-65-upgrade-kit/?do=findComment&comment=1986878
  3. There was some sort of conversion kit in the for sale section. It was for the 4.5 to 6.5 zone lift. I was looking at it for a while in case I wanted to go higher
  4. So let me get this straight. I have noticed that some of you have got the 4.5 zone lift and the fronts have raised more than 4.5 inches. Some almost as high as 6 to level out with the rears. This worries me as I only have 7 inches from the top of the onstar to the bottom of garage door. Once I do this lift and add 35s, I'm afraid it's not fitting in garage. Am I understanding this correctly?
  5. What's your current setup vs your upcoming setup?
  6. Did you get the standard shocks or did you upgrade to the Nitro or fox shocks?
  7. Nice Looking truck. I have the same color and really looking forward to getting the same lift and tire as yours.
  8. I dont have a good answer for you, but you may get a better answer on the 2500 side of the forum. Good looking truck BTW
  9. Jnach, have you went with a larger tire yet? I am debating on doing the zone and stuffing 35" dia tire in there. Hoping to see what the truck looks like with meatier tires and the stock chrome wheels like you have.
  10. Did you have to do anything special to get the USBs to work for data?
  11. Looks good. Where by chance did you find these at?
  12. Yes that is exactly what I did. I have thought about getting either an hid or led kit and putting them in the stock high beams and do some rewiring so I can use all 4 beams of light
  13. Thanks but we have already clarified this. You dont actually lose the high beams. The bulbs are still there. Me personally didnt hook the stock high beams up when I did a FXR retrofit. The FXR kit DOES have a shutter, and since my hids are already warmed up ready to go, I hooked up my high beams from there. You still can use your high beams but I just left them disconnected.
  14. Learn something new everyday. I had a Mr taillight kit on my Colorado that would maintain highs, lows, and fogs. Never took the time to hook up the old high beams. For one, different colors, but was sure just some new wiring would do it. I was just happy enough with the retrofit in general
  15. I'm sorry, you are correct. You still have them. Hooking them up is your choice. I prefer to use the projectors with the hids as they are already warm.
  16. yes you lose factory highs, but you gain the highs back with the fxr kit. They have butterfly that switches between each other
  17. Anyone having cutoff issues with the beam itself? After I installed the projectors, it's like the beam is slightly offset in the housing. Maybe a side to side issue.
  18. Haha that's good. I was a little confused as well when I put my projectors in.
  19. How about this? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxTTCx_TG1pWbzhtVUkyRDZERlU/view
  20. Received everything from trs today. Managed to remove the headlights and get the new projectors installed. Will work on the hid install over the next few days. One question though. The new projectors have two wires that trigger the flap for high beams. Do I just tap in to the existing high beams with those wires?
  21. C'mon TRS. Hoping to have a box delivered from you guys in the next few days. I have received the adapters from fastheadlights. Looking forward to new projectors and hids for the truck
  22. Ohh damn. Those look really good. I might have to look at getting those now. Thanks for the pictures
  23. Looks good so far. I am curious to know how well the fogs work at night.
