  1. I may be seeing the pictures wrong but it looks like you have the acr wired to the fuse block with both a hot and a ground. I did that myself and realized I only needed ground. The other wire worked as a trigger wire and caused it to stay linked 24/7. When I removed the hot it functioned as expected. Also I can confirm this works as a jump start backup after leaving the ignition on last weekend. I had to manually push the yellow button to link the batteries and start the truck. I had ran the oem battery too low to crank on its own. At some point I want to wire up the switch so I can link from the cab. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 2. Oh and I haven't seen a single caution light related to the battery. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado
  3. Very sorry for the delay. I'm usually more on top of things. I used custom 2 guage cables from powerwerx. Actually started with 1/0 and they we're so thick I couldn't route them. The 2 guage is way thicker than the factory cables. The connection on the side of the aux battery is a 100amp breaker. Makes it easy to disconnect the ground for the aux when I'm working on things. 4. I used a 2 sided tape but if I had it to do over again I'd probably have used a Velcro or something removable Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado
  5. There also is not a requirement to do front and rear with Wilwood's. For those with or without 20's you can just do the fronts. Brembo only works with 20+ inch wheels. 6. Glad my experience helped. Always a good feeling to get positive feedback! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado
  7. Brembo was not an option for me as they didn't offer a matching rear kit. Here is an additional tidbit. When the warning indicator flashes telling me I'm approaching a vehicle too quickly the system by default primes the brakes. Since the upgrade when that automatic priming occurs it actually slightly applies the brakes so I get a little bit of automatic breaking. I like it but some may not. 8. I should also mention I'm at 6600lbs with just myself and a full tank of gas. That only leaves 600lbs before I hit my gvwr and a cab full of passengers will hit that in no time. I fully expect with the brakes and upgraded suspension I can handle more than 7200lbs but the point is I'm not rolling light and the factory brakes seemed to fade quickly. 9. Yes I realize it's a lot of money. But the day I picked her up a car stopped short in front of me on the way home and the instant I hit the breaks I was stopped. Between the brakes and the fox coilovers she stopped dead without a hint of nose dive. Definitely overkill but it makes me happy! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 10. Rotors are 14.25 Wilwood's site let's you put in the vehicle and it shows what they offer. I got the 14.25 slotted rotors front and rear. Drilled rotors don't offer any performance enhancement and they cost more. Even Wilwood will tell you that. That's 6 piston in front and I believe 4 in the back. They are direct bolt on although my BDS front knuckles had to be ground slightly for the mounting bracket to fit. Kits don't include brake lines which were extra and I needed 18 inch lines in the rear to account for the lift. Front and rear kits cost me $2250 each for a total of $4500. Labor was $600 so $5100 not including brake lines or fluid. I put around 15k in my upgrades counting wheels and tires, line-x'd steps, Borla exhaust, BDS lift, brakes, and flares but I paid off the truck in April and I plan to keep it forever. 12. I have Wilwoods on all 4 corners. 14.25 inch slotted rotors. Also added stainless brake lines and high performance brake fluid (both recommended). Running 20 inch wheels that meet stock specs. See the end of my build thread for pics. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado
  13. The shop that did my latest upgrades posted these pictures of my truck. After a few weeks on the new setup I had to have flares to protect the sides. Not typically a fan but I think they turned out well. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 14. It's a costly error but I think I'm going to replace my catalytic converter and put in a GM Borla system. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado

  16. Stock UCA's but ride's like a dream. No body roll. No nose diving when I hit the brakes hard. And the Wilwood's will stop on a dime. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. My build thread: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/192614-Tenscourts'-2016-LTZ/Z71-CCSB-4WD-Silverado
  17. Did I choose the wrong exhaust? Friday to finish off a bunch of other upgrades to my truck I had the exhaust done. The conversation started with me referencing the GM borla exhaust and ended with a true dual xpipe leading into dual borla pro xs mufflers. It sounded great when I cranked it but it didn't take long for me to realize it was too loud in the cab. The exhaust guy seems to think my camper shell is amplifying the issue. AFM is disabled below 45mph and rarely engages anyway with the heavier tires and lift. With my foot on the pedal to maintain high way speeds I get a constant noise in the cab that is just too loud. I'm not 17 anymore and believe it or not this truck is a family hauler and my 2 year old could never sleep with this constant noise. Not to mention having to blast doc McStuffins so she can hear it over the exhaust. I've considered just chalking it up to poor decisions and getting the GM borla but my exhaust was cut to accommodate the true dual so I'd have to have that fixed or replaced to get back to a single pipe. Any advice or experience. Anything I could place between the exhaust and the cab to deaden the sound? I'm open to suggestions. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 18. BDS said the lift would push the front out 1.5 inches on each side. The stock track in the front is .75 more than the back on each side. I figured 2 inch Bora spacers would be as close to perfect as I could make it. I'm not sure if the brakes increased it or not but I don't have a single bit of rub. The shop trimmed my lower valance in the front a hair but I don't think it would have hit regardless. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 19. $200. Turned out extremely well. Probably dependent on the shop. My chrome was chipping horribly where shops were hitting them with lifts. It was this or $1500 for Amp power steps. 20. Haven't posted anything in a while but just had the truck in the shop this past week for some major upgrades. 4 inch BDS with DSC Coilovers and rear leaf packs. 2 inch Bora spacers in the rear for balance. Steps sprayed with Line-X (chrome was chipping). 20x9 +24 Snow Flakes in Gunmetal with machine finish. 295/60r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. And the hidden gem behind the wheels...Wilwood brakes all around. I also had the exhaust done but it's way too loud for me so going back Monday for a muffler swap. 22. There aren't any instructions per se. I have links to my YouTube videos in the thread and I believe I have covered most questions. 23. Haven't posted here in a while... This is right after my quarterly detail and not long after replacing my Z71 shocks with Fox 2.0 coilovers and rears. I have the Z71 front coilovers and rears plus front spacers that should give you 1.5 inches of lift if anyone is interested. Just PM me. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk. 25. I bought them at a local shop. There are 2 replica dealers online that sell them but I chose not to go that route. OE Wheels and Stock Wheel Solutions. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk.
