  1. In case anyone was wondering how well it actually works.. Before And after Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I used some Scott’s turf builder in mid spring to help with the thicker grass. Last year was a scalp, dethatched and overseed with good seed. It’s a lot thicker and darker than it was last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Lol. He’ll get there. They replaced their septic last year and just got the ground leveled out and seed down. It’ll never be as good as mine though. ?. Have to maintain it with fertilizer and other things. I’ll be getting a new septic in a month or so, so my yard will be all torn up too.
  4. Yup. It’s about 50-60 lbs so the weight will push the grass down behind the mower.
  5. Total neighborhood domination. [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Got it done. Total cost is around $160. I saved over $200 building this myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just in case anyone wants to build their own... https://www.lawnsite.com/threads/ultimate-home-made-lawn-striper.192602/ I bought 12 wobble roller wheels directly from Yates for $83 shipped. I went to Lowe's and bought the superstrut, cone nuts and brackets. Tractor supply had the 5/8" steel rod for the axle, machine bushings(washers) and some clevis pins. I need to go today and get some 5/8" PVC to use as spacers between the wheels, but it's coming along nicely, and at a fraction of the cost for the name brand wheel roller.
  8. Autozone price matches, so just go to whatever store is closer to you.
  9. No need for a hot knife for these k2 trucks. They’re permaseal, but not terrible. Can be baked in the oven and opened up. Just use butyl glue to reseal and you’re done.
  10. Not much. Just an oil change and took everything out of the bed today. Getting a yard of mulch to tackle the flower beds this weekend.
  11. Bumper trim has to come off first. 4 bolts and it pops right out. Take off the plastic trim above the grill under the hood with all those plastic push pins. 6 10mm bolts for the grill, 3 on top and 3 on bottom. It pops right out. 4 bolts on each headlight to remove them from the truck. It sounds like a lot of work, but it took me about 30 mins to swap out my headlights.
  12. The striper relies on weight. RC car wheels will be too light and I always stripped out the plastic hexes on them anyways. Lol. Plastic isn’t strong at all. Solid rubber will be the way to go. I want to make mine 35-36” and it should weight almost 30-40lbs to properly fold the grass over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. This is what I want to attempt. Use some channel strut and some rib rollers from a boat trailer. These damn wheels are expensive though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I've been doing quite the yard renovation over the last year that we've been here. I want to get a lawn striper for my 42" Husqvarna riding mower, but I don't want to pay that ridiculous price. I was looking at the checkmate one from bigleaguelawns and want to make a clone for a fraction of the cost. Does anyone have one and are they worth it? There's tons of youtube videos, but none really say if they're a waste of money or not.
  15. Lots of info and posts if you search " heated steering wheel" up in the search bar.
  16. I love that daytime cutoff/color flicker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. 1) Cool. 2) It seems the FXR has a more focused hot spot, which results in a little added distance. I have the md2s 5.0 and I love them. The fxr requires a lot to fit into the LTZ lights. Md2s only needs a hole drilled in the cap for the wires. Easy. 3)Yes, you will have a quad high beam with the splitter if you choose to use it. I upgraded my 9005 high to a 9011 hir bulb. A little whiter and puts out more lux vs the 9005. 4) I used the 3d printed brackets from @FastWS6TA in his kit, and the alignment is spot on. 5)The cutoff should be 2" down from the center of the projector when you are 25' from a wall on a flat, level surface. I thought about adding a light bar behind my grille, but with my retrofit, it is not necessary. I have also have some Rigid dot/sae fogs that are pointed slightly out for added width. I couldn't be happier. They have a nice cut off, and are actually street legal. I always had PnP HID's in reflector housings that were pointed down, to avoid blinding traffic. I absolutely love these lights and how they turned out.
  18. If you can find the Borla GMPP muffler, it’s perfect. I love it with the resonator cut out and the flapper clamped open.
  19. No link, just sweat equity. I sanded and painted the handle myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. First hand wash since the fall and got my new handle installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Zero difference. I bought a shorty from Autozone and it whistled super bad. Had to take it off immediately.
  22. I was tired of mine hitting too, so I cut about 6” off the top. Painted it and put a small rubber cap on the top. Looks OEM.
  23. They’re the Rigid SAE DOT legal fogs. Output is awesome and has a nice cutoff.
