  1. Nothing that I can tell. I am running my stocks shocks with extenders. Rides like stock. As far as bump stops belltech and mcgaughys sell shorter ones but I don't think there's much advantage to utilize them on the stock perches bc with mine I had my stock ones trimmed as low as I could and I was bottoming hard only being lowered 4 inches. 8f lowered less than 4 inches then you can just trim the stock ones.
  2. Mcgaughys bump stops and shock extenders
  3. happy to say i got aftermarket bumpstops put on and shock extenders and all is well.
  4. ty 07softtail , i called my guy today and should have everything ironed out tomorrow morning. that is what he was telling me too but I'm new to lowered trucks so just wanted to check on here to confirm
  5. well my issue was fixed , we will see if it lasts but all is well right now
  6. I recently lowered my sierra with the mcgaughys 2/4 drop. I'm bottoming out the rear semi regularly. Is this a) due to the shocks as I am running the stockers without extenders or b) needing aftermarket bump stops instead of trimmed stock stops or c) both need to be addressed .also is it better to use a" lowered" shock or a stock spec shock with extenders?
  7. I have a 2015 sierra with manual seats and I noticed a movement and clunk noise as well.usually slow speed turns and getting in and out of the truck. Only has 1573 miles on it.dealer said they couldn't duplicate so I went and drove it for them. Then when they heard it tried to minimize this issue and that in the service techs "opinion" it was just a noise and he doesn't feel it move.I hope they actually fix it but they seemed to act like didn't know what to do since the tsb was for 2014 models....
