So, I picked my my '16 Yukon Denali on Friday. It seemed smoother than the two I test drove, yet there's still a very slight but noticeable vibration (to me, not my wife - she just likes the roominess of her co-pilots spot!)
It's very smooth up to about 10 mph, then it's like flipping a switch with what feels like a minor drive train feedback. It does not feel like a tire balance issue since it does not vary much by speed... but then again, who am I to say!
There's no issues at (highway) speed in terms of the "back window open" effect, so that's a good thing!
I went ahead and got it, as it's got too much else to offer for this minor issue to derail. Sure, I'd prefer it to be smooth throughout the range of speeds, but...
Some other observations:
> I really do like the Adaptive Cruise Control, though I'm still adapting ( ! ) to it.
> Heads Up Display - very nice OTHER THAN when using it on a sunny day AND concurrently wearing polarized sunglasses (Rx). It's almost invisible !!! When clouds roll over, it's definitely easier to see. At night, I assume it's a non-issue (since no polarized optics at that point!) but I have yet to drive it at night!! Two days after getting this vehicle we headed down to Ft. Lauderdale to jump on the Allure of the Seas... in Haiti now!
