  1. Do you have a Facebook for communicating?

  2. I know what the recalls are. What I'm saying is that was what's happening to mine. No recall for the 15s but the issue recalled for the 14s is what I'm experienceing. It wasn't the cables at all or the battery. They said there was an update available for my truck for the steering and that's what they did.
  3. I have a 2015 that is currently in the shop for this... they claimed a BAD battery at first.... tested battery and all came back fine. Now they think it could be a battery cable... Out of my 3/36 bumper to bumper and my extended doesn't cover battery or cables... any one know how i can get GM to pay for this since it is the exact same thing as the recall on the 2014s as well as the same recall back in 2015 for the EPS system? Not wanting to come out of pocket for something that GM should fix for their faulty equipment.
  4. Yes but I believe just the airaid MIT can be used. Again that I'm not sure about as I haven't looking into the swap myself. Just looked into the l86 intake swap with the lt1 throttle body
  5. I don't believe it's a custom fabricated deal. Haven't seen any issues with that yet. If you have a facebook go to the "Gen 5 Sierra/Silverado (2014+)" Facebook page and ask. A few people have done it.
  6. ^^ The answer is yes you can fit the L86 intake and LT1 throttle body on an L83. You can also swap the LT1 6.2 camaro/vette intake manifolds on the L83 as well but it requires you to change a pulley and get a new belt as the lt1 intake manifolds are angled down vs being angled up. L86 and 6.2L lt1 are exact same motor as far as internals. only difference is the intake manifolds. Hope this helps.
