  1. Its so annoying and uncalled for with a truck that has a $50,000 price tag. I think my next truck will be a Toyota or Nissan with tje Cummins
  2. Has there been any resolve to this issue? I have had the same thing happen. The first time i had an issue they found a service bulletin on it and ordered what they called a rail? Supposedly it had welded points on it. This fixed the issue for a few months. I dont even drive the truck every day. It started again this fall. So far ive had it there 4 times. They just looked at it and said that everything is tight in there as. The part that they replaced is tight and not broke. Even the head guy of the dealership sat in it and drove it and I know him personally. He said he couldnt feel anything. On mine it doant do it all the time just periodically. Im about to tear into it myself. Has there been any resolve to this issue? I have had the same thing happen. 3. I just bought a nee Sierra a year ago. I have 26,000 miles on it and yesterday i started it to leave work and there was a very loud ticking. Checked the oil and it was a quart low. Drove to napa and bought correct oil, added it and still ticking. Sounds to me like its a lifter or valve. Took it to the dealer and they listened to it. I have to take it back today after work and leave it. They want to hear what it sounds like on cold start up. All I have to say is that it wasnt making that noise before!
  4. I had this same problem with my 2015 Sierra. Not only did my dealer deplace the shims, but they ordered a whole new braket of some sort. I guess something like a cross member that was also in there and replaced it all together. Thats been a couple of months ago and mine does not move anymore.
