I wasn't using M mode properly, now that I know how to do it correctly it does stay out of V4 mode. My problem with V4 is in my aftermarket exhaust it sounds like crap and I can just FEEL a big difference in how it drives when V4 kicks in all the time back and forth. It is very annoying.

I set my screen so I could see the V4/V8 and sure enough, in manual shift mode (even when I leave it in 5th gear) it will shift back in V4 when there is no load on the engine. So you guys are saying that mine is the only one doing this? I guess I see another trip back to the dealership........

and you can remove it and reinstall it on the fly whenever you want/need to?

from what I have read, you don't lose much mpg in town just on the highway, would you guys agree with that?

Hey guys, does anyone know of a way to disable the V4 mode without having to tune it?? I used the M-5 but it still activates in that mode as well. thanks
