  1. I heard something on my 2023 1500 LTZ going thru a potholed parking lot. Wasn't really sure what I heard as it surprised me. I haven't heard anything since then.
  2. My new 2023 LTZ and the loaner 2023 Trail Boss I was given to use while the LTZ was getting the bedliner.
  3. I've been busy dealing with some issues on the new truck and getting the 2011 ready to sell. I've been watching a lot of videos also. I've started leaning towards the BAK X4S. I like the look and the fact that I won't lose space with a canister. My concern with the X4S is this truck will sit outside in the South Texas heat and weather and not sure how the vinyl cover will hold up. I'm still going with the AMP step I guess the standard step as this LTZ sits lower than my 2011 2500HD and I don't want them hitting the ground if I'm parked on the driveway slope. I've got to sell the 2011 before I can spend more money on the LTZ. Thanks for the recommendations.
  4. How big is the canister on this cover? With this small bed I'm starting to worry about the lost space. After reading more about the Truck Cover USA one I'm not liking the drilling big holes in the bed.
  5. Thanks for the reply, those look strong but I think I like the flush fit steps better.
  6. I had this happen several years ago on my 2011. I took it to the dealership and they did a manual regen and told me I wasn't driving it right. I guess these issues are still there.
  7. I've been a member here for years but stepped away after my 2006 was totaled and I decided to just stay with a stock truck. I recently bought a 2023 Silverado 1500 LTZ short bed and I'm looking for a roll up bed cover and power retractable steps. I've never had either of those so that's why I'm here asking for opinions. I've been looking at either the Truck Covers USA or the Roll N Lock for covers. With the tiny bed I don't want a big box taking up space. If there is a fold up that is a better option let me know as I'm still open to suggestions. This truck will sit out in the weather so one that doesn't leak bad is also good. As far as the steps go I guess there is only one brand AMP Research. I see there are a few different part number steps that are supposed to fit this truck. Is there a difference between them and has anyone that has them had any issues? How well do they hold up in wet weather over the long haul?
  8. I have a 2023 LTZ with under 600 miles and I heard this driving thru a pot holed parking lot. Truck is very quiet on smooth roads. I guess it's a trip back to the dealership.
