Here's my new setup, moto metal 0970 +18 with my old 275/70r18 bfg ko2's I really wish they made these in a 0 offset, anyone have any info on some good spacers that may push these out to about what a 0 offset would be?

Not sure who this will all help but I recently had my 5100s adjusted again and the truck seems to ride better for what I'll be doing 90% of the time. I have yet to hit any big potholes but the truck rides noticeably more comfortable. I previously had them set at the 3rd setting with a 1/4" spacer on top and still had 2-2.5" of rake and the front felt very stiff and "jittery" at most speeds on any surface that didn't seem perfectly flat. I just had them dropped down to the stock setting and added a 2" rc spcer and am now sitting with about .5-.75" of rake and no more jittery feel and much more comfortable. Doing what I did probably defeated the whole purpose of the 5100s but I guess we all gotta learn one way or another, but they will be staying on at the stock setting from here on out. I forgot to mention I am also running a 2" rear block with the 5100s on the rear. I know it's not super "technical" but that's just my observations

I pm'd him, and he was just referring to running the spacers as opposed to the bilstein shocks at top height. Not the spacers WITH bilstein 5100s at stock setting. But nobody seems to have anything to say so I am going to try it, back my 5100s down to stock setting and run my 2" rc spacer.

Quick question, can a guy run the 5100 on the bottom "stock" setting and a 2" spacer? Or would there be any problems due to the 5100 being slightly longer than the stock shocks? Would like to get something done to my truck asap as I have new wheels waiting to go on... Thanks!

Is anyone running bilstein 5100/4600 shocks on stock setting with a 2" bottom spacer? Not worth it? I have the 5100s set @ 3rd setting with 1/2" top spacer and the ride doesn't seem any better than it was with the stocks shocks and spacers? Maybe I'm crazy but I don't feel it, would the ride be noticeably better with bilsteins @ stock and spacers than the stock shocks were? If not I may sell the 5100s and just go back to my stock shocks and 2" spacer.

Sweet thanks, I am pretty set on going with a higher + offset. I believe I currently have -12 and it rubs the outer part of the passenger fender at full lock in reverse where guys are running the same size tire on stock wheels w/out leveling kit and not rubbing. Drives me crazy! Thanks again

Thanks, I currently have some xd machete's in what I think may be -12 and don't care for the amount of gravel and rocks they throw up and how dirty the truck gets. Are your tires flush with the fender?

Do you have a head on view? Any rubbing? I'm considering those wheels or some 18x9 method standards in +18 with my current 275/70r18 ko2's. Nice looking truck by the way

Thanks, while I do like the wheels I'd prefer more black. And yes they throw them pretty good, the rocker panels are pretty chipped but I'm thinking maybe some mud flaps and running boards will help significantly

Thanks, so I seen you commented that you ran 275s before? Happen to have any pics of that setup? I'm looking to keep the same tires I have which are 275/70 and switch out the rims

Would you mind posting a pic or two? Your tires are wider than mine by about 3/4" so it makes me wonder if I would be fine with the +12 or if I'd go with a different one since my tires are a little narrower?

Here is my current setup, came on the truck. No idea on the front level amount, thinking 2.5" with 3" rear block. 18" kmc machete with 275/70 bfg ko2's. I have no idea on the offset and backspace, when I look on the kmc site they don't even list these wheels as fitting on the Sierra 1500? ? I was wondering what offset and backspace I would need to get the tires to tuck in a little more flush? I won't add flares and I don't care for how much these fling rocks onto the rocker panels. They don't stick out much but I want them more flush, I'm looking at either another set of kmc wheels or possibly some fuel wheels. Thanks for any info you guys got

I'm pretty sure that's what I got only with 3" rear blocks, I'm in the process of figuring what I have and what I need to order to make the switch to 5100s on all 4 corners. I'm not too crazy about the ride either, hoping the 5100s make it better, especially off the pavement.
