No it’s got push button start. And I thought about that as well, some sort of electric pump but it sounds more from the engine area than by the fuel tank. Luckily I made an appointment for today at the dealer but it’s quit doing it and I got the “we can’t diagnose it when it’s not doing anything weird.” I love this truck but it’s given me troubles, trans issues, leaking oil lines up front, check engine lights, have a “service trailer brake” message whenever I start it that no one can figure out. Sometimes I think I shoulda kept my 2016.

It could be I guess, just doesn’t seem to fit the symptoms. Yesterday I threw it in the lift to change oil and hopefully find something else out about it, wouldn’t ya know it stopped making the noise after I made an appointment for this week. Luckily the dealer said it would be hard to diagnose without the noise present lol. Just my luck I suppose. I wanted to add the video I took on here for context but it says the file is too large and I’m not tech savvy enough to figure something else out. I guess I’ll let it ride and it’ll either stay away or something will blow.

I have a 2019 Silverado rst. I’ve recently noticed this loud whine coming from my engine/trans area. It doesn’t seem to be rpm dependent, and I notice it mostly at low rpm or when parked and running at idle. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Have a 2019 rst with the 5.3 and 8 speed. Check engine light came on, took it to dealer, they did the trans flush and temp sensor. Went to pick it up, started it to leave the dealer light was back on. Now have valves stuck open in the trans and needs a new valve body. Parts on back order and no idk when they will be available. All under warranty still but frustrating that I can’t get parts or even be told when they’ll be available.

I’m having this same code thrown on my 19. Problem is I have a pulsar Lt and when I remove it to take it to dealer it clears the codes apparently. Dealer can’t find a stored code anywhere. Unsure what to do, I love the truck with the pulsar and the code is sporadic so I don’t know if I pull it out and run the truck for awhile without it and hope code comes back so it’ll get fixed under warranty? Unsure of how to proceed

So doesn’t deal exactly with your question but with the pulsar. I keep throwing a check engine code “P0711” trans temp sensor, which is a problem the dealers know about, my issue becomes when I remove my pulsar to take the truck in it clears the codes and they cannot replicate. Has anyone else had this issue?

I didn’t change gears or anything so didn’t change any setting for that portion

I run the pulsar, put 33s on my RST and it’s almost dead on with satellite speedo. Got it for the other features too, have the AFM shut off and the auto start/stop turned off. Get better mpg now than when I had all that nonsense turned on

2019 Silverado RST 5.3L. General grabber A/Tx 275/70r18. Full throttle +0 offset. 6mm spacers in front. Stock suspension. Slight rub and full lock turning left in reverse.

I just bought and picked up my 2019 RST yesterday 2/24/22 and didn’t have any issues during the test drive and on the way home, drove home in a mild blizzard and this morning I started getting the service trailer brake system message also.

These are killer. I want these for my 16 Sierra.
