Man, just installed a 4/6 McGaughy's on our truck and it rubs all over. I don't blame the suspension though as it was my choice to go that low as opposed to the 3/5, but rather the tire size. I put a 305/35 24 in the front as it was the only viable option I had at the time. It rubs over the smallest of dips and rubs while turning corners. Will going up to a 3" drop in the front solve my issues or will I have to start looking at alternative tire options? The front end feels very bouncy right now too, which seems to contribute to the rubbing a bit.
Long story short, I built the truck for the Toyo display at SEMA and they were planning on running a smaller, more workable tire for 24" wheels, but it wasn't ready in time for the show and I was stuck running the 305/35. Hopefully the new tires come available soon, but in the meantime I'd love to have this truck drivable because other than the rubbing it's a truly fantastic truck to drive. Any input is much appreciated!
