  1. Short answer is yes, but depends on the region you live in as frost and ground heaving might be a concern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. How was the install? Remove the leather cover and getting it stretched back on properly has me a little leary of attempting this.
  3. Has anyone found the heating element to purchase other than from the dealer, and if so where and cost? How is the install?
  4. I wouldn't waste money on an off brand light bar that wide, almost everyone I have seen with one on bows in the middle and ends up resting on the roof. And personally in my opinion a roof mounted light bar really ruins the looks of these trucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The color of the base coat doesn't matter as you are only removing residue from the top surface, clear coat. Only time this applies is on older single stage paints and even then it is fairly safe with the exception of high metallics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm not sure what the fiberglass would do, unless you were considering molding an enclosure out of that directing to the center console, which would be pretty badass but I'd be concerned about additional vibration in the center console. Yes, I was thinking a molded fiberglass box with a layer or two of dampening material to help isolate it from the console. New born at home so not much free time. Maybe this weekend I'll pull the console and see what I think. I have quite a bit of experience with fiberglass boxes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I haven't pulled my console yet. But as tight as it sounds would a layer of sound deadening on the inside of the console with 3-4 layers of fiberglass be an easier fix? As I said, have yet to remove the console. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. LOVE IT. Waiting on my audio control LC2i to show up and I'm going to tear in. Care to share box cut list/dimensions so I can prebuild without tearout? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Fight the fight and don't give up. At the very least, depending on your state laws, you deserve a LARGE finished value payout to make up for the loss in value. From a safety standpoint I'm sure the shop will return it to a previous condition state, but that does not mean the paper trail is clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Looks great, where did you get the clear marker lenses from?
  11. It was a Jeep Liberty, so with its taller front it it spread the force of the hit out some, but I am sure totaled.
  12. I was stopped at a stop light, driver that rear ended me "was looking at her radio" and made no effort to stop from 35mph. Still waiting on it to get repaired. Her insurance, Progressive, did not want top replace the bed side despite me and the shop telling them it was not fixable. Finally after 2 failed attempts at fixing it they approved replacing it. Hit so hard it pushed my spare tire onto my rear diff. Same truck, it is slate gray metallic, depending how the lighting it it looks gray or blue.
