so if I buy aftermarket UCA's can I use the drop spindles so I can fix the camber that way?

This would still only net me 2" up front. I can buy the struts and set them at the highest setting with this kit and net 3" of drop in the front correct?

This is where I get confused. They make drop spindles for 4wd but not with stamped UCA. What if I went with tubular UCA's? I dont mind spending the money but I am not quite sure what I need to spend the money on just yet. I know I what to have the proper suspension geometry when I finish and dont want to have problems I could have avoided if I would have installed the right stuff.

so can I not get the 3" with just the struts? It says they do 1-3". Then I can just drop the back 5 and I would have my 3/5 drop.

So I've been reading through this topic and its a little confusing. I have a 17' CCSB 4x4 and I would like to do a 3/5 drop. I dont want to have to install a c-notch and I have stamped UCA's. What would be the best way to go about this without making it completely ride like crap. There are so many options but what is going to give me the best ride and not cause me driveline or suspension problems in the future from parts wearing out prematurely?

I took mine off but I already had the bumper off. I dont see how you could possibly do it without removing the entire bumper. There are like 5 or 6 screws holding them on.

Now I dont know what the cost of BCM programming is but A LOT of people have the BCM programed for different mods and I have a hard time believing that PCM programming is anywhere near $4000 because you cant possible have more than a grand in parts. Either way its stupid. I could see it if it was going to cost $800 total or something as it will add to the resale value but anything more than that is stupid and I would also sell my truck for a loss and get one that had the brake controller before I dropped $5k. Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it, but how would be so stupid?

Yeah I had help and had somebody lift up on the bed after removing the same 4 bolts and it came right out. Since I dont have the park assist I thought about getting some 1" LED lights to install in the holes. I found some white, amber, or red. Thought it might be neat to get red and wire in with the brake lights, or amber and have them on with the tail lights, or white and have them on with the reverse lights. I dont see them adding much to the light output of my already LED reverse lights but it might look cool with the white. I dont know really any ideas? also do you have pics with the plugs in your bumper? That might aid in my decision.

I did the bumper swap today and holy crap was that way more in depth than I though it would be. Took me 5.5 hours including cleanup. That being said the first hour was me trying to remove all the trim and what not while leaving the bumper on the truck. The new bumper I got was missing all the trim and the frame mounting brackets so I thought maybe I could do it without removing those since all that trim had to come off anyways. An hour in I called it and pulled the bumper which was nothing short of a nasty job. Then I spent about three hours removing all the trim and steps and such and reinstalling it on the new bumper. After I got the last bolt in I went to plug up the wiring harness for the tag lights and realized it had got wedged between the receiver hitch and the bumper so I had to unbolt the entire thing to drop the receiver down far enough to work it around so I could plug it in and that was the last hour. Needless to say I am expert at removing the rear bumper now. I also have never seen a receiver with 12 points of contact before. That thing has to one of the stoutest receivers I have ever seen. I am going to get some plastic plugs for the park assist holes. Not the best look but its better than chrome

Before its all over somebody is going to transplant the entire dash out of a Yukon LOL. Hopefully this doesnt turn out like that $5k factory brake controller upgrade they where talking about earlier.

With some of these trucks you might need to store 5-6 qts of oil in there lol. Its a pretty good idea though. I would like to keep basic hand tools, safety wire and safety wire plyers, along with first aid kit and other things you might need in an emergency.

The USB port in the glove box is on all the time. It doesnt ever shut off. Its made for charging your phone while your are away from your truck and giving you a means to secure it via locking it in the glove box.

I wasnt asking why the mod was $5k. I was asking who in there right mind would spend $5k for a brake controller. You would almost have to be mentally unstable to do something so stupid.

$5k for a factory brake controller? WHY????

I am not positive on how this works but it seems like you might be a day late and a dollar short to have the inspection done now. I mean he might see something you can have fixed under warranty but regardless of if you are comfortable with it or not I dont think they will just say ok pick out another one. I guess you could trade it in but I just dont see them doing a buy back on it unless I am missing something on how the CPO's work.
