I think somebody need to get a price idea of what it cost to have the painted parts painted a different color as well, that way maybe you can trade somebody with a different color truck and have the parts painted your color. Timeswelding had the parts of his truck painted to match my truck and they were ready to go when I got there. He said the total for the front bumper, grill, and headlight trim was around $500 for him but he had a buddy discount and I already had a paint matched rear bumper.

I thought that was someone that did a 14/15 to 16/17 swap? The hood looks like it has the same lines as the current 16/17 1500 hood.

Will that hood fit on a '17 1500 silverado without changing any other parts?

Drove to ohio to meet another member this past weekend and do a front end swap. He had all his parts painted for me before I got there since his truck was red. The grill was an absolute nightmare to take apart but it was 100% worth it.

I added aftermarket for $16 of amazon and it works good. I have ordered the factory upfitter switches so I can make it function like factory yet but I will be soon.

What kind of exhaust is that. I like it a lot other then the fact that is removes the ability to tow anything.

IHS upper and lower control arms are $800 shipped and they maintain camber. Also comes with a flip kit. Thats the route I am gonna go.

Quick tire question. With a 4/7 drop and 22's what size tire should I run to avoid most of the rubbing?

Feel your pain man. I have had valet wreck one of my trucks before as well I have damaged my 17 in that exact same spot. Had to reskin the bed.

I am fixing to do this very same thing. Did you buy the 4 liter kit with the spray gun? did you have enough to finish? How hard was it to apply?

I personally think the sliding rear window is ugly. I wish GM did what Toyota did and had the entire glass slide down. That would be something to have IMHO.

Added aftermarket rear park assist since I found a color matched rear bumper with the holes for it. I have to use some 3/4" knockout bushings for electrical boxes and trim them down a bit as the sensors where too small to fit in the holes where the factory sensors are. I don't think it looks to bad really and from 3' away you wouldn't know they weren't factory unless you knew what you were looking at. I did hit the bushings with some plastidip and glossifier before installing them. What do you guys think. The kit was $16 on amazon and it works really well. I am going to install the upfitter switches with the park assist button so it functions as close to factory as possible.

So here is a question. I just bought one of those aftermarket park assist, I changed the rear bumper out to body color and got one that had the holes already so I figured why not. Anyways I am going to buy the switch bank with the park assist, TC, and Cargo lights. My question is this, I have no idea about that kinda wiring is installed in the truck at the moment but either way is the latching relay part of the switch bank for this switch or do I need to buy one separate? I plan on just intercepting the speaker itself for the beeping and not then entire unit.
