  1. Range works on my 2014 GMC 5.3.
  2. Nice! What year is your truck? I have a 2014, only 56,000 miles on it. Gives me hope for the future although I already had to replace the both seat cushion heater pads plus a behind the dash vent control solenoid and also a fuel tank vapor control solenoid that failed already. All mentioned seemed premature failures to me with the low miles.
  3. 2014 and 2015's are notorious for the heated seat elements to go bad. Weak design in the elements. Mine failed on both sides on my 2014 and it didn't even have 50,000 miles on it yet. It's usually, but not always, just the lower element you actually sit on. I had mine replaced at the local dealer. Just all at once both sides quit working. Was about $700.00 plus to get just the two lowers diagnosed and replaced. Could be this is what happened to you. Might just be a coincidence it was when you changed the settings.
  4. Range makes a bypass module that plugs right into your OBD port under the dash. All it does is makes it so your truck doesn't go into V4 mode. Keeps it in V8. Plug it in and let it go. It will not help your fuel mileage but makes a truck run as it should. Full V8.
  5. Codes will have to be diagnosed at a good repair shop or the local dealer to start. Or, you can research the code yourself online and try and fix it yourself if your mechanically minded at all.
  6. How many miles been put on it since returned from the dealer? With only 60k miles on it when it went in and already codes and a failure this soon highly suspect the dealer didn't do something right. They surely warranty their work. If they give you the run a round ask them for their district service managers phone number and contact information. Go up the ladder and complain.
  7. 2 inch level kit leveled my stock Sierra just fine. You go much farther and you will run into front drivetrain failures if other changes are not made. They say 2 1/2 lift is the max you should go but 2 inch level seems to level the truck quite nicely. Also make sure to have the truck in for a alignment after the install.
  8. It's possible you got a defective new sensor out of the box. Also you are supposed to unhook both battery cables for about 10 minutes to do a reset on the computer on the truck after you replace the sensor. Hope this info helps.
  9. I had the same issue. I found the battery cables weren't tight enough at the battery after I had a shop replace the battery. Also the battery ground cable acted up later and I had to replace the whole cable.
  10. Yeah, sounds like ground issues. Many YouTube videos out there on how to repair. Since 2014 both Chevrolet and GMC have been a nightmare for electronic issues. The good old days of decent reliable trucks are gone.
  11. With all the issues it's had, RUN!
  12. All I am going to say is plowing normally will tweak a frame in time and also is terrible on transmissions. The transmissions on these GM trucks of recent years are not to rugged to begin with even without plowing. They are a troublesome area for GM as it is. Especially the 8 speeds and 10 speeds.
  13. I had hot air only coming out the drivers side vents with the A/C on, on my 2014 Sierra. I followed this video as well to replace the actuator. Was a pain to do but took me about an hour. No need to pull the whole dash which my local dealer wanted to do and wanted $1100.00. Hardest thig was putting the actuator retaining hold down screws back in. Helps to have a small, thin arm too to reach it.
  14. Hi, I bought a replacement fob and a blank key to replace one's I lost. Took them to a locksmith and he programed the fob and key to the truck and cut the blank key for like $75.00 total. Much easier and cheaper than going to a dealer.
  15. Biden and the Left are living a dream. They are putting forth all these mandates not realizing that they are not achievable until years from now. Pure ignorance. Remember this when you vote in the midterms.
