  1. How much is a typical install cost for the kit and does it just level the front or raise back and front?
  2. Does the TSB apply to the 6.2L as well?
  3. I seem to have the closing issue on all of my doors. Sometimes it doesn't initially close even though a good amount of force was given. Sometimes you close it but don't think it really closed so I have to give it another try. I don't remember having this issue on my 2500HD but that truck was a 2008. It's not just me, as I always have to remind others that hop in and close their door to close it again because it didn't close all the way.
  4. Added the front camera for the Intellihaul system. Mounted it a little lower on the grill so I could see the front bumper, great for tight spaces. The image has a pink hue to it during the daytime, I think due to it being an IR camera and possibly not having an IR cut filter. Also added the CHMSL camera for the bed. Just need to figure out how to adjust it because it is pointing down too much and I'd rather have it up a little higher.
  5. How much was all the parts, and how did you trace the cutout for the headliner?
  6. I wonder if I could buy 23145163 or 23146445 and then another switch bank that had the hill descent and just swap the buttons?
  7. I have hill descent, cargo light, and traction control buttons. I can't figure out the part# for the same buttons plus the AUX. I see the long list of parts numbers and searched Google but the images are not accurate. Anybody know?
  8. Guys at Roll N Lock installed a Cargo Manager for me today. I can finally use the bed for groceries!
  9. I was going to ask this same question today. I have a 2018 with 1500 miles and noticed the voltage guage is anywhere between 12.5 and 14v and it is constantly fluctuating. I've never seen/noticed this before in any of my other vehicles.
  10. 2018. Brand new. Mentioned these issues to them the day after I purchased the truck. I should have inspected it better before purchasing it but didn't think I needed to because it was new.
  11. Hard to believe but yes. I've mentioned a few issues related to the build quality and that was their response. Told them about the engine tick issue and they said to get a nice exhaust setup and then I wouldn't hear it.
  12. Very cool. I like the Chevrolet logo on that carpet, just a subtle touch. I'd do my headrests but wouldn't want to chance having some local random shop screw it up and then I have to buy a new headrest.
  13. I looked everywhere as well and that's where I saw the tailgate alignment off as well. Sorry to hear you have the same issue. Keep me updated on what the dealer decides to do. My dealer can't get to it until May 20th. I told them absolutely no body/paint work can be done.
  14. Has anyone had issues with any body panels not aligning properly? My rear passenger door is popped out a little towards the bottom, but everywhere else on the door is perfect. I really don't think this is an alignment issue, I think the door is bent. The dealer looked at it and put in a claim with GM and the collision department will be looking at it next month. Service department told me "it's a truck, not a Lexus" which I told them that is not an acceptable excuse for this. And the left side of the tailgate is not flush. I tried bringing the tailgate post in closer towards the cab which didn't help because it would not engage the latch.
  15. Sorry, I didn't clarify, I have the OEM LED bed lights which have the wires run up through the rear tailights. This is what I tapped into so all the bed lights turn in when I hit the cargo light in the cab.
  16. I added the front OEM LED lights. Used a 7/64 drill bit then an impact driver to drive in the screws that came with the kit. Fit perfect and nice and tight. Then used a fish tape to fish the wires back to the tail light compartment to tap into the wire for the rear LED bed lights. Did the splice connection with an AMP splice connector and some electrical tape.
  17. Is there any possible way to have the mirror auto fold every time the truck is locked? I can seem to get into the habit of holding down the lock button.
  18. Old thread but I wanted to bring this up. I purchased that box new on eBay and it doesn't really fit well. Holes don't lign up so you have to drill new holes in the box. There is also a mounting tab on the back I had to cut off to get it to fit and unfortunately there is not a 2x2 inch hole in the bottom corner where that portion was cut off. If I didn't cut off that tab then the box would be too far to the passenger side because the tab would be hitting the driver side fender and the washer fluid reservoir would be blocking it. There is also a gap between the battery tray and the box which I did not fill with washers so when I torqed down the screws, it cracked the box. Thankfully I paid with AMEX so I'll file a purchase protection claim for accidental damage.
  19. On the 6.2L, if you ditch the Bose speakers will you loose the noise cancelling? I ripped apart my door panel today to install the side mirror cameras and those Bose speakers looked pretty cheap.
  20. Added the side mirror cameras today. GM part #19355213. Took me 3.5 hours. Didn't do the wireless trailer camera because I'll be adding the cargo camera and front camera. Dont like seeing my baby ripped apart but I didn't want to leave it in the dealer's hands. The cameras are excessively big. Not what I expected.
  21. Got rid of the ugly purple LED pods that the AMP boards game with. Can't believe they supply them with such ugle lights. Bought these on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B073ZGNDTC?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_yo_pop_mb_pd_t2 They were the only LED strips I could find with the 3M VHB adhesive tape. I like how they were enclosed inside a black rubber strip, so you can't see the LEDs unless you bend down and look under. They are extremely bright; brighter than what I wanted. Before: After:
  22. Added Weather Tech mud flaps and a bump step.
  23. Is this the same tick that everybody else is experiencing? I have a 6.2L Dealer said is it fuel injectors but the tick gets faster at higher RPMs and when I let off the gas at a high RPM the tick remains fast and doesn't slow down so I don't think it is noisy injectors because the tick would have slowed when I let off the throttle.
  24. Here's what I did today... Scratched the crap out of my driver side window as I was cleaning up bird crap with a terry towel. Bird must have shit out a diamond.
  25. I purchased those same lights at the recommendation of a few other posters because they were cheap and I thought why not. I received and installed them today and will be ripping them off tomorrow. Unfortunately they were just way too cheap. The adhesive wasn't the black 3m automation tape, it was just the basic white tape which won't last long. One of the lights was 5000k and the other was over 6000k so they didn't match, and the black aluminum frame was separating from the LED strip. The wires were also thinner than my thinning hair. In the picture you can see the left is more yellow than the right. Still looking at other options if anyone had recommendations. Oh by the way, thank you for letting me know about the adjustment. I checked and the boards were hitting on the LED that came with the boards so once I removed those LEDs it was fine.
