  1. yes the dl3 mirrors i got them off of a high country with the power fold, puddle light, heated, and turn signal. will the harnesses i bought work or are they not compatible?
  2. so i have a 2014 crew cab and im looking to add dl3 mirrors. my question is can i use gm factory harnesses? i saw one video that he used 84290984 for the drivers harness and 84290964 for the pass door. is this correct? also is the only difference between the 2 mirror switches the connector portion? reason i ask is that my gm parts dude said that the one i need is on backorder and the one that doesnt fit is the common one he sells. looking online some places say that the 23154702 is discontinued. can i just modify the connector portion so it fits in or is it wired differently? also what does the cargo lamp pin provide for the mirrors? my truck has all the pins except the cargo lamp pin. if i dont add the rzy harness what wont work? sorry this seems like alot of questions. i appreciate all the help.
  3. i would say no without tubs and other modifications. i run a 275-45-22 in the front of my 2014 silverado with a 4/6ish drop and it rubs over decent bumps and dips. my tire is roughly 2 inches smaller than the tire/wheel combo you are trying to run.
  4. sorry for the late reply. i am using the djm lowering kit (front is control arms and rear is a flip kit). i first thought that it was the driveshaft bottoming out into the back of the trans. i unbolted the driveshaft at the rear end and it still slid into the trans about 3/4-1 inch when the truck was on the ground. i do have some rubbing from the driveshaft on the body which only happens when the truck bed is loaded with shit. for the hell of it i put some dykem on the driveshaft and took it out on the highway. had it make the noise then took it back to the shop lifted it up and the dykem didnt show any rubbing on the shaft so i ruled that out also.
  5. i have a 2wd 2014 crew cab that I have heard this noise also. mine is lowered 4/7. I have no ill effect in the 10k I have driven it once lowered but still interested what you find
  6. can we get some more pictures of your truck? thing is so cool. did you buy a bumpsteer kit to lower the tierods down? and if so which one did you go with. im at a 4/6 right now and after seeing the photos of your truck i need to go atleast 2 more inches.
  7. what did you use to lower the front? djm/ Inez arms and drop struts? or did you use spindles also? can we get more pictures of the front. it looks awesome
  8. i have had my djm kit on my crew cab for about 6 months now and i havent had any problems with it but i do feel the ride isnt the best. im interested to see when you get yours installed how you think it rides. my feels super stiff over small bumps.
  9. anyone thinking about the michigan metal works control arms they are having a "name your price sale" going on now. suppose to be a 2 inch drop and it also centers the wheel in the front fender.

  15. you have websites or pictures that I can see either of these. I am at a loss trying to find them. only arms I have see are the Michigan metal arms that center the wheel.

  18. a drop spindle is still going to change the half shaft angle. the "wheel" is still going up 2 inches no matter what you use to lower it.

Anyone with with the djm 4/6 drop on there truck feel like it shakes alot over bumps. the steering wheel stays straight and doesnt jerk to one side or the other, it just feels like the truck is a brick. So bad that my phone will almost shake out of the cup holder when im on a bumpy road. it feels very weird. the alignment is within spec besides the caster which i hear is normal. any input would help before i pull off these control arms and buy spindles and struts.

  23. this is a picture of mine once i welded it all in. the fit on the frame was very tight.
  24. i have the reklez notch and i was really impressed when i installed it. fit amazing.
