Getting ready to purchase one of the two. I love the interior of the Ultimate, and slightly favor the exterior of the AEV. Is the AEV worth $8500 more than the Ultimate? Admittedly, it will be a street princess most of the time with hunting, fishing, and country roads being the extent of off-roading. I’m torn…..any thoughts?

I just installed this on my ZR2 and like you mentioned, it seems to be too short for the current body style. I bet this part has been around quite a while which may have fit the pre-2019 trucks perfectly. However, it seems the new body style beds may be slightly longer, or the dimensions changed just enough to render this cover not as snug as previous models. I have tried to readjust many times, and when I have it snug against the cab, then the tailgate doesn't meet the rubber seal when closed and has probably a 1/4" gap or more not sealed thus allowing a lot of water in through the tailgate area. Then, when I adjust the cover back toward the tailgate slightly to help with that gap, I now have a significant gap near the cab. I think REV (a.k.a Bakflip) did not modify this cover at all for the new style trucks and are simply saying this part# fits the current 2019 and newer trucks to save money. I don't expect water tight, but I am getting too much water during a rain to justify keeping this $1k cover. I am taking mine back to the dealer for a full refund and going back to the drawing board.

I stand corrected and thank you. I thought there was a minor difference but it appears they are the same other than the chrome 6.2 badge which I wish wasn't on mine. Honestly, I am not a fan of the hood scoop period. It's non functional and impedes viewing over the hood. Is it actually bolted onto the hood on simply stuck with 3M? If it is stuck with 3M, I may remove it. If not, I have to live with it. Or, maybe I will have a body shop cut out holes in the front of the scoop where there are multiple indentations to help the engine breath better. And, it's so weird that on both the trailboss pictured and in the chevy accessories catalogue, only front mud flaps are available....SMH.

No massaging seats, but significantly more comfortable than the previous gen seat for sure. The interior is what sold me on the truck. The shocks are amazing as well. The thin lights are running lights similar to a Raptor or TRX that look really cool. The front bumper, grille, and hood scoop are ZR2 specific which I like so it doesn't look like every other Chevy out there.....as it should for the price they are asking. I am sure the black looks amazing as well, but my days owning black trucks are over lol.

Careful, the word Democrat is a fighting word with my in-laws. They are die hard Republicans. I think you will find more and more Dems are converting after the current debacle

I traded in a 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 Limited, and I can honestly say that yes the seats are much better than the pre-refresh seats. I felt the GMC seats were hard and my butt/back would hurt even on the shortest of drives. I recently drove the ZR2 5.5 hours and had no discomfort whatsoever. A major improvement in my humble opinion.

I’ve had it 2 weeks now. Love the shocks and the ride. I want to remove the chrome Silverado badge on the tailgate and black out the chrome 6.2 on the hood. I added the Putco dark chrome door sill protectors which thankfully they mimic the black chrome trim throughout the interior.

Just picked up a new Silverado ZR2 and am considering the rocker protection. Anyone have experience? Will it work with high clearance steps? Nice and cleaned up before driving 4 hours home. For a 3500, it rides amazing and I enjoyed getting to know her on the journey today.

Hello all! Just upgraded from my '20 Sierra 1500 AT4 carbon pro to a 3500 AT4. As Henry Ford said, you can have any color you want as long as it's black. SO, black again it is. It has the AT4 premium package, multipro step lights, auxiliary trailer camera (currently for sale), snow plow prep, and a few other small options. This is my first Diesel, so I will be reaching out to many of you to educate me. Contemplating a few mods like leveling kit, slightly bigger tires, maybe adding painted wheel arch moldings, and tonneau cover. Man, these HD AT4's are hard to find. I purchased this one 4 hours away. They literally just received the truck last Thursday and hasn't been test driven. The dealer is willing to deliver it to me, but my OCD self almost wants to drive the 8 hour round trip to drive it home. It was PDI'd today and will be ready for delivery pickup no later than Wednesday I am being told. Any helpful advice with the break in of the diesel? Any pointers as a new diesel owner?

I just purchased a '21 3500HD AT4. It's black, and am wondering what the painted black part# is? Honestly, I fight with whether to leave the flat black stock ones on as I think it breaks it up and looks more rugged on a black truck. Thoughts?

I just purchased a new 2021 GMC 3500 AT4. With it comes an auxiliary traler camera option which I will never need, or use. It is on my window sticker as a $595 option. First reasonable offer can have it.

I have to ask, because I simply don't know...but, will this work on my 2020 Sierra 1500 AT4?
